Just saw one of the wildest contest situations recently. A thread contest announced winners. Later it turned out 1st and 2nd place were alt accounts linked to a former team member. Low effort. Almost identical format. Barely any views. It felt off. Then, my friend @0xileri called it out publicly. What happened next: • @cortexagent( the project) sent him $100 for flagging it • The issue got acknowledged • He even got a DM from @zerionNG Big reminder about Web3: You don’t always have to win to benefit. Sometimes the real edge is: • paying attention • speaking up respectfully • documenting what others ignore That mindset has helped me a lot when participating in bounties and testing projects. Instead of only chasing the prize, I try to: • actually test the product • share insights from wins and losses • highlight things teams might overlook Some of the best opportunities, gigs and jobs I’ve gotten didn’t come from winning. They came from showing up consistently and adding value and getting reached out to by project teams or project founders themselves. Question for you though: When you join bounties, are you just chasing the prize... or trying to become someone teams remember after the campaign ends?
