do wonder if developer education is still worth pursuing caught in a space where questioning if "craft of ui" is worth continuing are people still interested in how to prototype? how to think through problems? or would they rather just prompt it all?

@dionzemzem @ilyamiskov I hate Safari dev tools with a passion. They are unwieldy, have constant freezes, working with those is a chore.

@ilyamiskov Just the devtools alone on safari make it a no go and because of all the special things they have when developing makes me dislike it even more😂

Tried Firefox’s experimental support for CSS container queries with custom properties. I’m often critical of Firefox for missing features and slow adoption, but credit where it’s due, its style and layout engine has been the fastest so far. (Safari is the worst)

@lucacs In my opinion, design skills are harder to acquire by yourself, but that’s a personal point of view.

@lucacs Trained as a graphic designer, always learned the engineering parts by myself. Started with Flash websites, it was kind of already design engineering before the word even existed. That was almost 20 years ago.
