The @xAI team is working on providing For You tabs that are specific to topics.
For example, a “For You AI” that is focused only on artificial intelligence with no political rage bait.
This would be like automatically generated follow lists with content ranked by quality.

as a software engineer, i feel a real loss of identity right now. for a long time i defined myself in part by the act of writing code. the pride in a hard-earned solution was part of who i was. now i watch AI accomplish in seconds what took me hours. i find myself caught between relief and mourning, awe and anxiety. the craft that shaped me is suddenly eclipsed by a machine. who am i now?

Come on. I agree that you are free to charge whatever you want to charge but food industry is generally petty profitable.. Margins are high (percent games are very common - if I am charging 600 rs. for a cup of coffee, and my expenses are 300 rs. But my per cup cost is 80 rs. There is still 220 net profit), let's not pretend otherwise. Actually, as long as you are small, there is a higher chance that you can get away with lot of things.

I run a desert shop, we are available on zomato and Swiggy.
For 12 orders Customer item total is ₹4,047
We gave discount which is already ₹562 (100% restaurants bare this from their pocket)
Then zomato charges 24% commission + 18% gst on this 24% commission + they charge ₹15 delivery fee for orders at 4-6km and ₹35 delivery fee on orders above 6km delivery + gst on this.
This is not all you need to run ads in zomato to get orders. We end up spending minimum ₹1,000 per week.
After factoring in all this we loose almost 50% .
@NalinisKitchen if you need the same price in the restaurant and aswell on zomato, that isn’t going to be possible. Better go to restaurant and pickup the food for yourself. If you want convenience, you have to bear the charges.

Dear @zomato, the actual price of my order is ₹320, but on Zomato it’s ₹655. Even after applying discounts, I still have to pay ₹550. This price difference is absolutely insane. Customers are being blatantly overcharged.

I think in a moment when GitHub’s reputation amongst developers is at an all time low, making the policy change to charge for self hosted runners in any scenario instead of making other technical changes to make GH runners more attractive will go down as a very bad move.

I would very much prefer each Indian city develops a network of such elevated cycle tracks for its citizens not just for bike cycle based connectivity but also as part of recreation and tourist attraction in a city.

After multiple calls with the Airtel XStream Fibre tech team - I have been informed that using an Airtel connection is not possible without a locked down device. I cannot make even simple changes like changing my LAN IP address and this will be done by remote login by an Airtel technician into my router using a parallel admin ID. The technician refused to divulge who all have access to such admin privileges. Even if you purchase another router that has fiber input - you have to use it as a bridge with the compromised Airtel device. This device is a clear security risk for any business or home. Do not use. I am processing a request for disconnection soon @Airtel_Presence and looking for an ISP that doesn't have locked down devices like these at the customer end. @internetfreedom @iam_anandv
