In addition to tooling, the extensive standard library and the let's not break things between releases culture let's you get on and solve the actual problem instead of faffing around upgrading libraries.

@decodeVeronika @droyad @lucasvandongen @DamianEdwards We (a product company) have been moving stuff from NodeJS (TS) to C# as the developer experience is truly superior to literally anything else (performance is great too!), even without Visual Studio (we use @JetBrainsRider). We also use Macs and are on Google Cloud. It's fun!

Currently at Octopus Deploy (a product company), but worked on electricity trading, hospital patient management, pizza ordering, finding ants from helicopters, motel booking and much more. Not boring!
