Students can’t work during the day for obvious reasons. I would say this argument is more relevant for entry level jobs which I think is totally warranted. As a business owner I can see the appeal of a subsidy but not at the expense of hiring Canadians if there is one qualified. To be fair, I’ve posted jobs and had little to no applications from qualified workers.
