I just got a fine in the post because my teenage daughter had the seatbelt under her arm. $2115 It's not a fine that she wasn't wearing her seatbelt, it's that she didn't wear it right. My 22 year old cousin was in a car accident with her fiancé, he had been drinking. She had her neck broken and was consequently a quadriplegic. He asked for his engagement ring back.
