@HalosMatt @LAAngelsPR If he’s not healthy the entire time.. then yes. Still a good trade IMO just bad luck with injuries. But if we’re getting 2-3 healthy years.. definitely worth it. We have had him for half a year and you’re already complaining.

Everyone also speaks how great it is to play in LA and for mcvay. It’s the same thing which is why I said we’re even in culture.

Per the report, the victim is requesting a “stay away” and “no contact” order for herself, and her dog, from Jackson. She is also requesting Alaric be removed from the home, stating “she’s the one on the lease.” I will report more when details come available.

@fogs1289 I hear you, but I learned my lesson on that in past years with OTAs. The on-field work is just super minimal, and I’m not so into psychoanalyzing crossers and out throws with no pass rush lol. We have all training camp to get granular. Convos/schemes/learning the focus now.

@DonAtkinsonNFL @LombardiHimself @SportsTalk49ers Are you forgetting the addition of mcduffie and Watson??? The addition of those 2 plus Garrett is the same if not better than 49ers offense. Our CB room was below average back of the pack last year. Going from that to top 10 (projecting) is significant.

Exactly. I’ve been saying this since the Garrett trade happened. The improvement in the 49ers offense by adding Evans/Kirk is greater than the degree of improvement in the Rams defense, where LA went from an B+/A- edge rusher to an A+. The SF receiving unit went from a D to easily an A/B.

Mike Evans will likely have a bigger positive impact on the 49ers than Myles Garrett has on the Rams. It’s simple logic. LA already had a top-8 pass rush win rate last year and wasn’t deficient at DE. Jared Verse is an upper-tier player. Meanwhile, SF was very deficient at WR — particularly the X, a spot that’ll trigger compounding returns in Shanahan’s offense. The Rams’ pass rush should be better. The 49ers’ WR corps can be transformed. All additions happen in the context of a team sport
