@TypeThrow666 @KeithStalker2 Fair point. The material may need to be separated from its late-century applications before it can be fully appreciated again and even though some styles have a habit of outliving the eras they're most associated with, I don't see this happening soon either.

@formsarchive They look great with the Marcel Breuer Isokon bentwood table. They were the prototype for the chrome dinette, ubiquitous in 50s households. Ours was yellow.
English

@allowedposting Every few years they seem to inch closer to a comeback.
English

@formsarchive I still think glass bricks should make a comeback they looked really cool
English

@elie_foube16925 Couldn't agree more. Half the reason it still feels contemporary is that so much of contemporary design is still catching up to Rams.
English

@KeithStalker2 Yes! The 80s definitely gave them a second life, still waiting for their next revival.
English

@CRXSSF4DE Their reception looks beautiful! Curved glass brick has a way of making even ordinary spaces feel unexpectedly cinematic. I'm sure we can find some uses for it!
English

@formsarchive there's a company near me that still does them to this day and if i had literally any use for it, it would honestly be so tempting to install
their office reception entryway is like this and it's pretty cute
