@envinyon should of stopped at "I don't play healer"

people seem dooming the most about the white mage demonstration I don't play healer, and I tend to stay in my lane. But if I have any criticisms of healers now its that I think having 300 free ogcds and you don't really use 90% of them in most of the content, that's kinda lame

@Keoffxiv @xaeluh a veteran player is still very prone to mistakes when going for a clear, probably even during first or second week of reclears as well. If you played in a more hardcore setting you'd understand this

@fresh_potatos @xaeluh Maybe if you switch to a new job Or if you're a new player I guess. But if you've been playing for a while it's pretty simple just to keep hitting 123. But for the most part if you're proging DPS doesn't really matter for most fights. It only matters when you're clearing

ah yes i’m dense for thinking pressing 111 is more simple and different than 1>2>3 even though 1111 removes potential of combo breaking which objectively just makes playing the class at base level easier to play

@Keoffxiv @xaeluh It's really easy to lose track of rotation when progging hard content for the first time, your opinion is kind of irrelevant if you think it's normal to be able to always hotbar watch while playing

Limiting every job to 16 buttons is the most unnecesary thing. I dont know how SE convinced people button bloat is a problem. You have 48 binds on controller with WXHB bars. "We broke the 2m meta" you created that problem though it was fine before EW.

Many thoughts about this job design shift. Some good some bad; honestly the biggest holdouts were that WHM seemed utterly sauceless and that they LOOOVED just using Inner Release-alikes as a burst for every job. These situational skills are very cool, though

@JinTrixx @xaeluh I wouldn't say more complicated, just slightly more freedom, I'm sure there will still be optimal loops

@xaeluh I was against it at first, but they're making you press 1 on repeat instead of 1/2/3 on repeat, and in turn adding actual skill expression, such as perfect counters and non-linear rotations where you have to pick what you do, as well as more positionals. Its more complicated now.

@DudeRacoon @rinonbanana I don't think it will be impossible yall can play gnb and war id imagine. The point is to make them into shield healer/regen healer alike, but all content can be done with double shield healer for example, arguably even comfier than 1 regen/1shield.

@rinonbanana Forcing tanks into positions is awful and is already causing grief with my static co-tank on what we are going to do as 2 off tank players that don't like PLD. BRD just became phys ranged SMN and WHM lost all of it's sauce and my static healer is on suicide watch.

whats the point of keeping reborn mode if evolved mode is slightly stronger and will likely have more streamlined rotations....sometimes placating the playerbase with more options is bad imo .
