Ana Kasparian@AnaKasparian·
Sure, I might be untalented. Up to others to decide. But I can deduce that voting “no” on legislation that would cut arms to Israel amounts to supporting U.S. funded arms to Israel…as they carry out war crimes and atrocities daily. Those crimes are committed with zero fear of blowback thanks to the defensive capabilities Americans are forced to bankroll. In addition to voting no on that legislation last year, in 2021 you originally (and correctly) voted “no” on a bill to funnel an extra $1 billion to Israel on top of the $3.8 Billion we already send them every year. You got a little pressure from your corrupt colleagues, changed your vote to “present” and then wept about it…literally. Is that what political “talent” looks like? Israel was enjoying an economic surplus that year. We, on the other hand, were not. As for cashing checks, I’d respectfully ask you to remember who pays yours. It’s the people you’re lying to right now.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez@AOC

@AnaKasparian I never have. Feel free to continue lying publicly, though. Those checks don’t cash themselves and you aren’t talented enough to be relevant with the truth.

@RawaneOsmane @vc How do you not see the USA and Israeli create tension and conflict, funding and orchestrating militias all around the Middle East, and believe they haven't been doing the same in Lebanon and Syria? The enemy is the country you now defend.

How can you possibly support Israel? Westerners who adopt the Palestinian cause from a place of distance and comfort struggle to understand people like me; people who come from the Arab world and have walked away from it. Some of us didn’t just walk away. We chose a side. I am the daughter of a Lebanese mother and a Syrian father. My mother is a child of the Lebanese Civil War—a war in which militias, backed and fueled in the name of the Palestinian cause, tore Lebanon apart. Lebanese killed Lebanese. A country was destroyed, not to save Lebanon, but to serve a broader ideological project. My father is Syrian. I grew up watching what regimes and militias did in Syria and Lebanon while constantly hearing that all of it was Israel’s fault. That was the story. But it didn’t match reality. We lived humiliation, corruption, fear. We stood for hours at checkpoints, bribed officials for basic rights, feared prisons where people disappeared. We watched regimes claim to fight for Palestine while crushing their own people without mercy. And still, we were told to sacrifice more. For Palestine. At our expense. So yes, let me be clear: Do I stand with Israel against those who destroyed our countries in the name of that cause? Any day. Anytime. Because I have seen what they did to us. And when I went to Israel, I saw something I was never supposed to see: a functioning country—a society with rights, accountability, and dignity—something my own region denied us. That doesn’t mean Israel is perfect. It means the story I was told was incomplete—and dangerously so. So when you ask, “How can you possibly support Israel?” Understand this: Some of us are not speaking from ideology. We are speaking from experience. And no, we were not paid or manipulated. We changed our minds when we finally saw the full picture. #Israël #lebanon #israel #FreeIranNow

@shaunmmaguire Apples and oranges. There is not an important holiday celebration at the Wall today. Christians in Iran are free to worship today at their churches. The ones Israel hasn't destroyed. Israel will use any opportunity to inflict suffering on other peoples and their religions.

This was a dumb policy by the Israelis But all holy sites in Jerusalem are currently closed — including the Western Wall The bigger story is we’ve hit the point where every mistake by a Jew is amplified And weaponized against all To paint the lie that Jews are uniquely bad
Emmanuel Macron@EmmanuelMacron

@MaxAbrahms About your book promo... "Ever wonder why militant groups behave as they do? For instance, why did Al Qaeda attack the World Trade Center whereas the African National Congress tried to avoid civilian bloodshed?" Because Al-Qaeda was blamed as a false flag operation for Israel.

There’s outrage when Israel tries to protect minorities at holy sites but no outrage when Iranian missiles hit holy sites. We are living in morally disgraceful times.

Amb Huckabee is correct. This was a mistake by the Israeli police. The security concerns are real, but they should not have prevented the Patriarch from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulcher to conduct the Palm Sunday blessing. I trust this mistake will be corrected quickly.
Ambassador Mike Huckabee@GovMikeHuckabee

My statement re Prohibiting the Latin Patriarch of entering Church of Holy Sepulcher on Palm Sunday: While all Holy sites in the Old City are closed due to safety concerns for mass gatherings including the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Al Aqsa Mosque, the action today by the Israel Nat'l Police to deny Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and 3 other priests from entering the Church to offer a blessing on Palm Sunday is an unfortunate overreach already having major repercussions around the world.  Home Front Command Guidelines restrict any gatherings to 50 people or less.  The 4 representatives of the Catholic Church were well below that restriction.  Statements from the Gov't of Israel indicate the action to prohibit Cardinal Pizzaballa entry to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher were for safety reasons, but churches, synagogues, and mosques throughout Jerusalem have met with the restrictions of 50 or less.  For the Patriarch to be barred from entry to the Church on Palm Sunday for a private ceremony is difficult to understand or justify. Israel has indicated it will work with the Patriarch to accommodate a safe means of carrying out Holy Week activities.

I will debate you anytime. Also your argument is deceptive. Egypt had closed the straits of Tiran, amassed an army on Israel’s border and Nasser was promising to drive the Jews into the sea. So Israel attacked first in a defensive war. I don’t have time to fact check your Begin quote, but you’ve been known to fabricate before. youtu.be/a7suHgkOYLE?si…

You once wore a T-shirt with former wanted terrorist Menachem Begin’s face on it. This is what then Israeli PM Begin said in 1982 about 1967: “The Egyptian Army concentrations in the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him.” Happy to debate you, and educate you, on Middle East history anytime, Eli.

@DanSimal @EliLake I could point you to Ilan Pappe's introduction in "Biggest Prison on Earth", where he details Israel's plans in 1962 to occupy Gaza and West Bank -- nearly 4 years before the 6 day war. But you will only try to delegitimize Ilan Pappe. That's what you guys do.
