@PolitiBunny Every major population center in the state voted yes, not just one county. And guess what, those places are where a majority of the state’s pop lives. Sorry you hate the democratic process so much and you’re mad about Dems playing by R’s rules! Need a tissue?

@JasonMiyaresVA Dems have been trying to pass national gerrymandering bill for years and R’s refused to vote for it. So don’t be surprised when Dems start playing by the rules that R’s insist on! Not Dems fault the only language R’s understand is force. I see it’s gotten your attention, worked!

Yesterday’s results will prove to be a pyrrhic victory for Democrats in Virginia. The raw anger is palpable and now Abigail Spanberger, Don Scott, Louise Lucas, and the rest of the Richmond Democrats will own this. Governor Spanberger lied to voters and they won’t easily forget that. Now every insane leftist bill/vote by the radicals that will emerge from these districts will be because of her deceit. The Democrats may believe they silenced millions of conservative voices yesterday, but they did not. A conservative comeback is building to rectify this deceit and unconstitutional power grab.

Democrats rail against gerrymandering—until it benefits them. Just look at Virginia. Using Texas as the example while doing the same thing is peak hypocrisy. Nothing’s uglier than… “it’s fine when my side does it.” Power over principles—every time.

Exactly. That, and they try to stand on the fake moral high ground of “independent commissions” These are never independent. As Ron Desantis pointed out yesterday, the ‘republican’ on California’s ‘independent’ commission is from Berkeley 🙄 Any commission orchestrated by a government will be left-leaning, so that’s why they keep pushing it. And when those fail, they gerrymander And folks, never forget that Democrats created the modern gerrymander in the 1970s. It wasn’t us. We didn’t counter until the mid 2000s

Virginia was one of the most balanced states in the Union. Democrats have manipulated people into thinking this power grab was to “balance out” what Texas is doing, when in reality California has already balanced that out with Prop 50. This wasn’t to “balance something out”. It was to grab as much power as possible.

@JonnyMicro Funny how Dems doing exactly what R’s have been doing now suddenly means the left doesn’t care about democracy anymore, lol. So is this an admission that R’s have never cared about and have been openly hostile to democracy after all?

The same people that would be upset with Carnell Tate at #7 are likely the same people who have been crying for Jayden to get more weapons Respectfully, we watched Chris Moore & Robbie Chosen play WR1/WR2 in games last season. Tate cannot be where you cross the line, lol.

@ianmiles lol absolutely hysterical. Dems have been trying to pass a national gerrymandering ban for years, R’s keep voting it down. If that’s the world they want to live in then don’t be shocked when Dems play by those rules. R’s can always just vote for the ban, otherwise quit whining.

I'll be blunt. The worst thing isn't losing my voice in politics. The worst thing is that my own neighbors did it, and they don't give a fuck. I generally thought there were more good Virginians than bad. Apparently its almost exactly 50/50.

Just so you get the truth and not the partisan spin here, Republicans came up with the idea of the mid-decade redistricting fight and started in Texas. Then, in Virginia, the RNC spent $0.00 to fight. Now, as drawn, the Democrats have an advantage from the redistricting fight.
