One of the main points of a strategy workshop is to force attendees to REDUCE SCOPE. Make some hard decisions.

A: Why should we capture assumptions, do discovery, and examine our frame? This sounds like going slower. B: Maybe it is, but what if it dramatically increases your opportunity profit relative to what you're in such a hurry to move toward?

@CGLambdin @rob_england @agileschools I’m still confused by the allergic reaction to “research” (now “discovery”). Applied research that eliminates “obvious” risk, is a force multiplier in excess of 100x.

@rob_england @agileschools I love your "iterate, increment, experiment, explore," but would stress that exploring should include some straight-up research and interviewing.
