I just finished this great book that showed how Stalin systematically & intentionally starved to death 4 million Ukrainian peasants & murdered Ukraine’s intellectual elites. Putin shares Stalin’s disdain for Ukraine, & the Ukrainians know what living under Russian rule is like.
