Isn't the obvious deal that we agree to stop bombing, Iran agrees to open the Strait and stop tolling, and we call it even and everyone goes home?

@JamesSurowiecki We can just keep bombing them, I'm just sad that the Iranian people were cowards in the end, not willing to stand up, there was a moment of courage and now they do nothing.

@lbnBattuta Muslims didn't bring super disease. Focus instead on how heavily Islam replaced native religions. Their slave trade of Africans lasted longer than Europe's trade, and ended later. They castrated slaves, and sometimes stole children as tribute. Native Americans would be dhimmis.

🇹🇷🇮🇷 TURKEY REPORTEDLY AIDING IRAN WITH WEAPONRY Reports are circulating that Turkey supplied Iran with advanced anti-aircraft and drone missiles, allegedly transported by intelligence-linked drivers to target US and Israeli aircraft. At least two reports suggest the F 15 US fighter jet was not shot down by the Iranian defense system, but was shot down by a Turkish-made shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missile. Developing. Stay connected, follow @MOSSADil.

@IranSpec Regime change has already occured, new leader appears more diplomatic. Issue is rogue IRGC fracture which leads to internal conflict. If the US steps away and resumes a more diplomatic approach great, I reckon Iran will gradually open up. Israel however pose a continued threat

I’m trying to think of a NON-BIASED way the U.S. can leave this war. First, they can’t just pack up and leave. That would hand Iran massive leverage over the entire world. They would effectively control global oil prices. “If you don’t lift sanctions or do what I say, I’ll close the strait again” But if they stay another 3–4 weeks, the U.S CAN’T hit enough targets to reopen the Strait. Remember, all it takes is one missile hitting a ship. Iran still has thousands. So then what? How does this end? There are only TWO exit doors: 1. The U.S. quietly gives Iran $50–100 billion USD in unfrozen assets, lifts key sanctions, and guarantees no further attacks in exchange for reopening the Strait. 2.The U.S. stops trying to force the Strait open and shifts fully to regime change. Plain and simple. That means launching thousands of drones over Iran, striking Basij, IRGC, and PMF positions every 5min like clockwork, dropping hundreds of crates of ammunition and weapons into Iranian towns and cities, and pressuring lower-level Artesh generals to flip.

@IranSpec Small strike on Kharg loading infrastructure. The regime will collapse in a few weeks when they can't pay their soldiers and then the US can rebuild it in 6 months after regime change.

Israel had already announced it will no longer sell its high-tech defense and military hardware to France, and now UAE announces it's not funding the new French fighter jet. Good for Israel and UAE on their proper responses to President Macron's treachery in supporting Hamas and Islamic regime of Iran.
Eretz Israel@EretzIsrael

The Emirates abandon France on the Rafale F5 and leave a €5 billion hole. This is a real setback for France, and not just financially. The Emirates are withdrawing from the Rafale F5 program, and as a result, Paris finds itself financing alone a project costing around €5 billion for this version alone. #France #Iran

@Pirat_Nation Safari is always the one ruining things requiring backwards compatibility. Requires hardware decoder. Webkit has ruined my life constantly having to engineer hacks and work arounds. Get rid of it. Do streaming content providers that do encodes require to pay a fee ?

The Licensing Alliance just changed H.264 video royalties for new licenses starting in 2026. Big streaming services used to pay a maximum of $100,000 per year. Now the cap is much higher up to $4.5 million for the largest platforms. Old 2025 licenses stay the same. Small or new services still pay the lower rate.

For any invasion of Taiwan people fail to mention the obvious: The island is one of the most heavily militarized AND fortified territories on the planet, having more personnel per square mile than the USSR had at the densest sections of the frontline at the height of WW2. AND THAT IS ON TOP OF SITTING BEHIND A LITERAL SEA. Do people even understand just how easy it is to defend against amphibious invasions if the "landing area" is expected by your opponent? This would be worse than Gallipoli. Much worse. There is simply no way communist China would get a foothold and the PLA knows that. Any "attempt" would fail on the strategic level before operations even begin. The Taiwanese air force would be destroyed, most of their equipment would be erased, and YET CHINA WOULD STILL BE UNABLE TO LAND because this is how war works. There are over 250,000 personnel, ACTIVELY defending this tiny area. There are no weak points, there can be no ELEMENT OF SURPRISE, and everything is mined to HELL. To make things "worse", after just 3 days of conflict over 2 additional million reserves would be called up into the defense. There will be no "invasion of Taiwan in 2026" like the Americans have been saying and if you think otherwise you are stupid.
