@michaelquotes1 @united @FLYPIA Full Self Driving @Tesla vehicles will make regional airports obsolete. The market isn't prepared. Leave when you want. No security. No boarding. Fire up your favorite movie and chill for 2.5 hours in a comfortable seat.

I checked in at 7:15am, agent checked my ID, bag was tagged, I went through TSA, went to my gate, got on the plane, was at my seat, then told to get off the plane because “I left my bag behind” - got off the plane, for some reason my bag is sitting at a… @united @FLYPIA

@WallStreetApes Or you could not break the law. Slow the fuck down. Remember 7th grade science? Do you need a refresher? Force increases exponentially to Velocity. If you are driving at 41 in a 35, your kinetic energy increases by about 37%. That's breaking distance and force of impact.

Democrats in the city of Milton, Washington installed a new speed cameras In only 6 months the new speed enforcement cameras have already generated more revenue than the entire transportation budget. More than $800,000 from nearly 15,000 citations Driving just 6mph over the speed limit gets you a ticket Fines vary by violation: - Typically up to $250, with lower amounts for minor speeding Chief Tony Hernandez noted the city issues tickets for speeds 6+ mph over the limit. They say this is the same threshold officers use for stops Drivers are saying it’s a “cash grab” and complaining about minor tickets like going 42 in a 35 Once you let the government setup systems to take more of your money, they never reverse them

My youngest (16yom) wanted a car he could maintain himself. He found a 2001 @Toyota Corolla with 74k miles. The kids are gonna be alright.

@TimRunsHisMouth The Naval Observatory residence is reportedly a better place to raise young kids than the White House. @SLOTUS probably has an opinion on the matter.

@WallStreetApes "By simply using the cost of goods, without adjusting for their cheaper cost of production, the rate of inflation has been artificially advertised as much less than it actually is. The indexes passed down to us like gospel from the government have been complete bullshit."

The cost of living is too high in America. People can’t afford to live This woman has worked at the same company for the last 25 years, she works full time but can no longer afford to live because of increasing costs “I'm so f*cking over this sh*t” It an American works full time they should be able to pay their bills and have money left over to go on vacations and enjoy their personal time The direction we are going can’t continue. Prices need to come WAY down, especially housing

Europe’s baby bust map: West/North: 5-17% see kids as a “duty to society” East/South: 30-83% Fertility everywhere below replacement. No cultural turnaround on families and children will inevitably lead to slow extinction or replacement. Simple math.

@rosenlogic Agree. B is the new C. I was looking for an early indicator for freshmen & sophomores to use when considering four-year schools vs vocational schools. Really wanted better than 50% odds of graduating college (right after high school).

@nateakemann I love it. One tweak. Given grade inflation, I’d amend this to “… if Algebra and Geometry didn’t come naturally to you” or similar.

@earl1061 Totally. The bigger problem is that passing with a 40% doesn't help in the long run. Classes build on what was learned. Passing the previous course with a 60% used to be a prerequisite. In reality, a MASTERY of the basics is an inductor of success when advancing

Your personal success story is yours to be proud of. Seriously. 👍 That said, please do not criticize what works for others. There are millions of people that have been EMOTIONALLY DESTROYED by repeated diet failures. This is their first win in 30 years. Nutrition absorption (especially calcium & vitamin D, to use your specific example) is a known issue with multiple medications. GLP-1's are not the boogeyman for osteoporosis. The sneaky ones that contribute to that are PPI's (Prilosec) and Corticosteroids (Prednisone).

@carolineN108 @nateakemann @TiffanyFong I’ve literally watched 2 people I know personally who still eat like crap on them. I’ve lost 90lbs TWICE the hard way and it’s because of my poor choices of eating. They are also causing many issues for people like osteoporosis.

Whatever works for you is great 👍. But... You used the words "trying" and "strict." Many people have a tough time with those words. I feel that trying is good, but repeated failure is not emotionally healthy. We are surrounded on all sides by shitty food. Not everyone has the strict temperament of a warrior-monk. Some people just wanna take a GLP-1 shot once a week, instead of fighting a battle every day.

I've been trying to lose weight for over 20 years. I started a strict diet with no food after 7 p.m. consisting of chicken, beef, and fresh vegetables. It's helping me lose weight extremely fast without bloating. I believe it's the caloric deficit, but I've tried that with other foods and it never worked.

@98_kouki_mama @TiffanyFong Your "balloon back up" comment is derogatory and uses the incorrect assumption that GLP-1 medications are for temporary rapid weight loss. These are permanent, lifetime medications. They are popular, because they actually work.

@nateakemann @TiffanyFong It’s a shortcut and people are still eating unhealthy while on them. So as soon as they stop taking them they will balloon back up. It’s a vicious cycle.

@Teslarati Think bigger. In ten years every business that serves alcohol will own their own @robotaxi with FSD for liability protection. They might need ultra-@WeatherTech, but most cabs will be wrapped with their sponsoring bars' advertising.
