Responsible tourism aligned to heritage and local culture is not merely about grand designs but also appreciating local wonders too ! A step well, an excellent example of traditional architecture awaits at village #Ranvi at #Guhagar #Anjanvel road in the kokan. It is amazing that till one enters it is not apparent that it is a step well. The well has a beautiful arch that imparts it beauty. Unfortunately the well lies uncared for and abandoned. Needs better care and respect certainly. maps.app.goo.gl/RNoDxj6P8hMmrP…

@GodboleSandeep Was able to buy it at Dapoli last year. Not a fan…strange taste, but can be tried as a novelty.

Does anybody recollect the Alu (अळू) fruit - Marathi name. Neither referring to the Hindi Alu (potato) nor the Marathi Aalu leaves. Not alu-bukhara either. The अळू referred is a fruit, brown in colour. Used to be available seaonally in Pune on handcarts, not seen it since years.

Copy writers who understand language well needed for ads in our languages, #मराठी definitely ! Marathi consumer wont touch sweets 'as soft as wax'. Translations need understanding of sensibilities, words and idioms.Word substitution from original English/Hindi ads does not work.

@ianahilario True. It is indeed difficult to have to sell value of good testing. Actually, “Selling” really should really not be needed. one should not be a Product manager unless they realise the value of good quality testing.

but it's sad because there's some companies that doesn't value good testing quality. they're good with releasing "good enough" features so they can ship quickly. it's a bit demotivating if you're someone who really wants to do a good job. your bugs just stay in the backlog

@ministryoftest Anyone can write. Why have authors? Anyone can sing. Why have singers? Its not what one can do but how well can it be done. The low entry barrier for testing creates this misconception.

@parwalrahul And still mediocre programming skills are valued more than great testing skills. There is more incentive to learn programming than testing.

After taking 100+ interviews for testing positions in the last 2-3 years I have finally concluded that: Good testing skills are rare compared to Good programming skills. #LearnTestingPlease

We need to prod and if needed support local panchayat in maintaining such sites. Ensuring cleanliness, setting up information and direction boards, putting safety railing is needed. We need to develop and highlight tourist attractions @MPLodha can the ministry look into it.

We are unaware about many #heritage gems we have inherited. One such structure awaiting discovery is the घोडेबाव Ghode-baav/Ghod-baav or step well about 6-7km from Guhagar (Konkan Coast) in Maharashtra. It is located on the Veldur/Anjanwel-Guhagar Road at village रानवी Raanvi.

@mashchauhan @NGKabra Also 'Puneri' is more used to describe an action, a trait, a behavior...while 'Punekar' is more used for a person.
