AI is straight up bullshit. Someone spent years mastering complex logic, system design, and clean architecture the hard way. AI copies it perfectly in seconds without any struggle. My late nights, failed interviews, and endless learning? Totally worthless. Talent and effort are dying fast. Why even bother improving anymore?

Do you think OpenAI has gotten so generous with their limits resets that they have a single button they can press or do you think it's still some multi-step SOP some person has to follow

Hi. Over the last 24 hours we had three separate small incidents that affected Codex reliability. Those are three too many and we are taking active steps for them to not reproduce. I have reset usage limits for Codex across all paid plans. May the tokens flow again.

OpenAI has nerfed its usage limits completely. Usage limits were cut in HALF overnight. Claude Code usage limits are now better than Codex.

The AI hype collapse is going to be insanely painful for everyone. Brutal times ahead.

Why is no AI company trying a $9 or $10 plan?

@ajambrosino The Superapp definitely needs unified ChatGPT → Codex App for Mobile… so you can do the exact day request and commands from your phone to your desktop to the cloud… right now the workflow is broken

a few months ago in an interview, someone asked me where we wanted to take the codex app. i answered with something along the lines of: we intend to make it the best app ever built for desktop, full stop. it probably felt like a little much, but i meant it. and it feels less potentially hyperbolic now than it did then. Codex is the best way to build software. it is now the best way to do many other things too. we will lean into both, and much of it will mean we blend a lot with ChatGPT. we will do this only when we can deliver something incredible and better than what the two separate current things can deliver alone. we will also combine the best parts of cloud and local environments (and yes, windows+linux). and the best of instant responses and long-running objectives, like /goal. we will do so with Taste™ outside of the incredible gpt models, 3 things have made the Codex app what it is: - an opinionated view of how agents should work with a high quality bar - a tight and honest dogfooding loop - you those 3 things will continue to be P0. LFG.

I expect pricing will normalize around transparent usage tiers instead of opaque “Pro+” bundles. As well as breakout into the smaller pots of coding platforms as “unlimited” era is now over for cloud #LLM services

@sflorimm It is a perfectly valid development method. Not everyone needs a deep agentic, automatic flow. Sometimes you just need some quick snippets or surgical fixes.
