I’m honoured to be joining 𝕏 to lead design. I believe this is the most important platform in the world, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to help shape the future. I’m looking forward to working closely with @elonmusk, @nikitabier, and the rest of the team. I’m grateful for the opportunity, humbled to be part of it, and can't wait to get started!

@damienslash @nikitabier @Antunes1 as a user, right now the biggest annoyance in using this platform is bots and spammy behaviour that is indistinguishable from bots. getting rid of the incentive for said behaviour is more important than the couple dollars a creator would have gotten that they are now missing

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X: We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language. While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform. We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

OpenAI and xAI are finally deprioritizing side quests and focusing on coding, while Anthropic has been focused on coding from the start. We’re likely heading toward 3–4 top-tier coding models (including Gemini), it's not a winner-take-all market. Each model will excel in different areas (frontend/backend/infra/etc.) and programming languages. Competition is great for consumers.

I have noticed that Nikita mostly responds to people with very large payouts, either praising them or highlighting the payouts of engagement farmers. But there are also users who are producing really good content, using the platform authentically, and even their two-week stats are very strong, yet they haven’t received any payout for several months. At the very least, they should be informed. They should be told clearly what the reason is. They deserve an answer.

@dwarkesh_sp I watched his recent video on using AI. he mentioned frequently running out of tokens and having to pause work because of it. why isn't Terence being given free tokens by the frontier labs? seems like a win win maybe ask him if he's reached out?
