Overall I was extremely impressed by the Atkins Golf Club. Bunkers were in perfect shape with white sand. Tee boxes and fairways were great. Bathrooms onsite. Branding of U of I was everywhere. $71 for a cart, range balls and greens fees was well worth the short trip for me!

Atkins Club at the University of Illinois Built in 1999 as Stone Creek Golf Club Remodeled in 2021 and changed the name to the Atkins Golf Club. This is home of the Fighting Illini golf team. A quick 🧵 on the course and facilities 1/

Yeah but you have to be. Three straight western finals, all the standouts playing well and role players (Hryckowian and borque) playing exceedingly above expectations. Will be a war but you expect to win. Sat. will come ill be worried and then you just gotta hope. Real analysis, I think Minnesota doesnt have enough depth down the center or a goalie thats been there and done that.

I know Hawthorne is going to be a struggle but opening the meeting with a four horse field is just not a good look.

Newest member of #gogogreys. Cue all the bloodstock agents living in their mom’s basement screaming for more meatloaf right now saying I overpaid. Yeah no shit I overpaid. Every horse at these sales are overpriced and make no sense. I’m not in it to make money. I love the horses, love watching them grow up and all of it. You can’t take the money with you when you die. If I listened to Brad and Liz on when to stop bidding I’d have zero horses. This is my hobby. Grey horses and dishing tea on the beach.

Taking this year's draft into account... Who will win a Stanley Cup first: The San Jose Sharks or Chicago Blackhawks?

I see that $LYV, with no FCF and still trading at over 100x earnings and almost a $50B EV, has been completely de-risked now that it lost in court.

@AlCimaglia Is this a pseudo cost saving? Like Danny being in charge, rather than a team President?

Not sure now, and some players always trained on their own. BUT back 10-15 years ago they received detailed workout plans for the summer. They needed to comply and report back. Training was specific to their needs. My question is summer training should have always been stressed especially with a very young group. But the Hawks cut ties with the Paul Goodman and until now I haven't heard much about summer training. Bedard's workout regiment involves fitness but much of what he was doing was skills building.
Bertuzzi was framed@hockeypunhere

@AlCimaglia Feels like a symptom of “the new league” where the development has to happen outside of the season (shouts to Belfry for being the tip of that spear). I also have to assume Bedard’s development after last summer is playing into “the art of the possible” here.

I have never heard a head coach put that kind of emphasis on off-season training....Guys have to have an "elite" summer. Interesting...
Jack Bushman@JackBushman2

Jeff Blashill said the #Blackhawks have “a lot of work to do”. I asked him to elaborate on that. Here’s his response: “Guys have to have elite summers. For some guys, that might mean getting thicker & stronger. For some it might mean getting quicker… but that’s where it starts.
