Instead, they’re poking it right as the economy tanks and people stop pretending they care about elite moral lectures post-Bondi.
Hearts are hardened. Pauline backed him weeks ago, people only have support for him fresh in mind - and are being told by a media that despises him that he’s a bad guy, like that works (see One Nation polling).
Even if guilty, expect ‘irrational’ public reverence and headlines like “sociologists warn public indifference to alleged BRS war crimes marks bloody turn in Australian culture”.
This will only cement him as a folk hero.

Ben Roberts-Smith is an Australian hero. Unfortunately he represents the old way of our nation that NuStralians oppose. Therefore he has to go. They don't actually care about "war crimes" (which he didn't commit). They just want to take down the old world. I stand with BRS.

The site features are so badly designed that when the X management interacts with normal use of them, they see this use as dishonest.
X could easily design quote posts so that they have two posts in them, giving us more context. But they haven't done that.
Instead often people take screenshots instead of quote posting, which is another sign of design fail.
