Just had the finest smoked salmon I think I’ve ever eaten. From Old Millbank, in Thomastown. Super texture and smokey flavour. Curiously, their website throws a 404 error 🤔

Looked into buying a business recently. Performing, sales wise, amazingly but utterly destroyed by food and energy costs. It beggars belief how every hospitality business in Ireland isn’t protesting. Energy companies posting record profits and there’s a tsunami of closures coming

I know I've posted about this before but I decided to give the slow cooker another chance.... 8.5 hours ago we put some beef on slow in the pot. We didn't fill it to the brim. The beef is not cooked and carrots are rock solid. these slow cookers/air fryers are gimmicks...

Bravo, John, we love watching internal promotions working out so well, he’s being very humble here to be honest, which he is, and one of the reasons we love him, he work’s incredibly hard every day and absorbs knowledge and gets stuck in and can often have 20 steaks on the go with 20 more being called out on top of that. All different cuts, sizes snd temperatures. It takes a certain temperament to focus and stay calm and still be a pleasant person Peter & Mark did a great job tutoring you and they’re very proud along with the rest of us Nice work John
