@MarkLazerus Bedard has to suffer through a different pairing of wingers damn near every game, and other than Bert, none of them can finish the chances he gives them.
English

Would Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks have had a similar season to Macklin Celebrini and the Sharks had Bedard not gotten hurt in December? It was trending that way.
But Bedard is looking forward, not back: "I’m going to get better every year.”

@PostPositiveX @Rock_Moninoff @krassenstein What’s the last war we finished successfully? And by success I mean the opposite of Iraq where we left a huge power vacuum that bred the formation of ISIS.
English

@thingators @Rock_Moninoff @krassenstein Hey man I never said I was happy to be fighting Israel’s war but we’re here and in it so we go gotta finish
English

@PostPositiveX @Rock_Moninoff @krassenstein Adding potentially trillions more to our debt for Israel isn’t America first. Crushing our economy and hurting Americans financially isn’t America first.
English

@Rock_Moninoff @krassenstein Kinda agree with this
I don’t drink the koolaid I hate the left , the right , our entire government, blacks , Jews , Israel etc
I’m a white nationalist America First type

@caseyle1979 @JBPritzker Who’s the only global nuclear power to ever use nuclear weapons against a civilian population? I’ll give you a hint, it’s the country whose actions are threatening global economic collapse. And it isn’t Iran.
English

@JBPritzker Investing money to prevent nuclear demise is worth it.
English

@jayzawaski Easy for defenses to put all their focus on Bedard when he’s is on the ice because his linemates are basically no threat to finish their chances.
English

@MarkLazerus Frondell is far more physical than Toews ever was, and I’m still a fan of Tazer.
English

When I told Anton Frondell that Jeff Blashill had twice equated him to Jonathan Toews, he looked at me like I had two heads.
"TOEWS?!" he said.
Yeah, Toews. Frondell is still, in his words, "far away," but Blashill's not far off, either.

@Mario_Tirabassi The kid can finish, something sorely needed. He has no business going back to the AHL.
English

Nick Lardis 4 goals in 7 games since being moved up in the top 6 of the lineup
CHGO Blackhawks@CHGO_Blackhawks
Lardis getting all greezed up! His 9th of the year!
English

@RinksideGeneral He’s got a little nasty in him that almost none of the current forwards possess. Pleasantly surprised.
English

Anton Frondell has started his NHL career with 5 points (1G + 4A) in 5 games.
But the points aren't even the most impressive part. He's completely physically dominant as an 18 year old.
Already the best forechecker on the team.

ANTON FRONDELL HAS SCORED HIS FIRST GOAL IN THE NHL!!!!! 🔥🚨
English

@kfore44 @brooke_lofo Yes, but it’s his fifth game. I’m not sure how the Swedish league handles OT, but this may be all new to him.
English

@brooke_lofo Hopefully Frondell learned from his awful play on the 3-3. You just don't let that player get between you and the goalie, and then not hustle like crazy to get back. It was a horrendous play by him. Coaches better jump on him for that!!
English

#Blackhawks Jeff Blashill noted, in part, postgame with the 4-3 OT loss:
“You know, we haven't been good enough in 3-on-3. So, that's frustrating for all of us. I'm sure it's frustrating for you guys. Frustrating for me. Frustrating for the players. But I don't think that should take away from the process that we had through lots of that game, [which] was really good.”
English

Anton Frondell has his first NHL goal, and Ilya Mikheyev almost runs over Hellebuyck trying to grab that puck.

@ChicagoSufferer Fans are impatient. Anyone who plays sports (at any level) and are recovering from an injury need time both physically and mentally to recover. His injuries must have been worse than they acknowledged.
English

@bedsysburner98 Greene is growing on me, but Bedard needs someone that other teams fear to face, and Greene isn’t that yet. I like Frondell’s physical game as well as his offensive game, he’s gonna be a stud.
English

1st period takeaways (ft Frondell taking the opening draw):
- Anton Frondell is here to stay.
- Wyatt Kaiser is buzzing, his recovery time is incredible
- I think I’m done with Ryan Greene next to 98, put Frank the Stallion on that LW
- Spencer Knight is locked in

@1ChicagoSports @BenPopeCST Can’t pinch at the blue if your offside winger is in la-la land, that’s just an invite to an odd man rush. Which we gave up goals against last night doing.
English

@BenPopeCST Feels like such a cop out. Their gaps are terrible, they’re not killing plays quickly, they’re not defending the blue line at all. All the D need to take a hard look in the mirror. The great teams aren’t scared to try to make plays in the offensive zone.
English

The Blackhawks are the first team in almost two years to allow 38+ shots in four consecutive games.
Alex Vlasic: "A lot of it starts with our offensive zone play and how we're managing pucks in that end... We're just giving them an easy out of the zone if we're making blind passes to the slot. We were having success in other games when we were just keeping it simple, east-west behind the net, grinding them down, getting shots from the point and playing a predictable brand of hockey. When we started to complicate it, they started to force turnovers, and that led to time in the D-zone, and the more tired you get, it's a snowball effect."
English

@ColtonHenr76585 @mmpadellan Republicans controlled congress when the Ukraine funding was approved. We are also obligated to assist them because the Budapest Memorandum.
English

@mmpadellan You act like it was cheap under Biden when it wasn’t you act like we weren’t funding a war we had no business in aka Ukriane if you voted either red or blue fuck you, is the correct response.
English

@AndyCampbell16 @MalleyJimmy The D are only 40% of the players on the ice, maybe throw some shade on the other 60% who need drastic improvement in their backchecking and defensive support.
English

As my colleague @MalleyJimmy pointed out the #blackhawks allowed shot totals of the following during each game on the road trip:
-47
-42
-38
-40
They will continue to develop these young defenseman but still don’t have that present or future first pairing left-handed defenseman.
English

@ShortShifts2 Nobody is afraid to go in the corner with any of our D-man. Lev is probably the most physical of them all, which isn’t saying a lot. Guys should fear a guy Crevier’s size.
English

Alright, I’ll say it.
I’m gonna need a decent bounce back season from our boy Alex Vlasic next year.

English

@BlackhawksFocus Same with Korchinski, who has even better hands than Kaiser.
