Sonic Adventure é a prova de que uma boa direção de arte pode manter uma obra como atual mesmo após anos do seu lançamento! O Dreamcast trabalhava muito bem com texturas, o hardware dele foi essencial pra traduzir as artes conceituais desse jogo para o formato tridimensional.

There is this funny subgenre of PS1 JRPG that is just “what if the SNES had CD support” and it completely died by the time FFVIII came out.

@AllbonesJones Honestly they picked one of the worst examples for that too. Like really, why shouldn't you pirate books by a guy who died in 1881... I'm sure he wouldn't mind. (of course there's a gotcha here with a possible Ru>Jp translation being a modern publication, but eh, let's not-)

Y si os dijera que existe un JRPG para la PS2 donde su compositor utilizo trazas de su propia voz para crear sonidos inusuales? Ese juego se llama Evergrace y fue desarrollado por FromSoftware para la PS2. Una de las rarezas de este juego radica en la composición de su banda sonora. Su compositor Kota Hoshino uso su propia voz para crear sonidos étnicos, esto hace que la BSO de este titulo fuese una absoluta anomalia en aquella època. Detras de esta obra no solo esta su increible compositor, tambien está su productor Masanori Takeuchi, que es una de las piezas clave mas veteranas del estudio. Ha estado en casi todos los lanzamientos experimentales de la compañía. Otra de sus grandes personalidades es Yoko Shinkai y todo el equipo de arte de King's Field.
