@kimmonismus I was an OpenAi fanboy since 2018, it’s such a shame that they became everything they said they wouldn’t.

OpenAI is preparing ready to launch their new and next generation of models. They are about to revolutionizing science & economy. "A very significant step forward" compared to their current models. Imho this is preparing people for the launch, very very soon, maybe even this week.
Chubby♨️@kimmonismus

Looks like OpenAI reached Superintelligence. OpenAI: "Now, we’re beginning a transition toward superintelligence: AI systems capable of outperforming the smartest humans even when they are assisted by AI." OpenAI just published a 13-page policy blueprint for the "Intelligence Age"- proposing a Public Wealth Fund, 32-hour workweek pilots, portable benefits, a formal "Right to AI," and tax reforms to offset shrinking payroll revenue as automation scales. The document frames superintelligence not as a distant scenario *but an active transition requiring New Deal-level ambition*: new safety nets, containment playbooks for dangerous models, and international coordination modeled on aviation safety institutions. Here are OpenAI's suggestions (tl;dr): Open Economy: -Give workers a formal voice in AI deployment decisions -Microgrants and "startup-in-a-box" for AI-native entrepreneurs -Treat AI access as basic infrastructure (like electricity) -Shift tax base from payroll toward capital gains and corporate income -Public Wealth Fund — every citizen gets a stake in AI growth -Fast-track energy grid expansion via public-private partnerships -32-hour workweek pilots, better benefits from productivity gains -Auto-scaling safety nets triggered by displacement metrics -Portable benefits untied from employers -Invest in care economy as a transition path for displaced workers -Distributed AI-enabled labs to accelerate scientific discovery Resilient Society: -Safety tools for cyber, bio, and large-scale risks -AI trust stack — provenance, verification, audit logs -Competitive auditing market for frontier models -Containment playbooks for dangerous released models -Frontier AI companies adopt Public Benefit Corporation structures -Codified rules and auditing for government AI use -Democratic public input on AI alignment standards -Mandatory incident and near-miss reporting -International AI safety network for joint evaluations and crisis coordination Notably, OpenAI calls for stricter controls only on a narrow set of frontier models while keeping the broader ecosystem open, a clear attempt to position regulation as targeted, not industry-wide. They're backing it with up to $100K in fellowships and $1M in API credits for policy research, plus a new DC workshop opening in May.

No you beg the chinese to donate to your failing foundation and they aint biting. We are working with the chinese to make all their models work well with hermes and arent begging china for money when OpenAI should be funding your shitty organization and your scummy maintainers work

@NightGod333 I was in Helmand in 2012 and I used to use a L129A1 that would put a horse down in one shot. These boys would just get up after a heart shot and walk it off. This guy isn’t joking.

@AlexFinn Having a good orchestrator is like telling an ape to tell the chimps to march single file. It’s a great idea but it’s never happening and the end result is a complete cluster fuck.

It happened. Anthropic banned OpenClaw from Claude subscriptions Here's the thing though: I figured out a way to use Opus 4.6 in OpenClaw without exploding your costs In this video I cover how to set up OpenClaw a way where you still get Opus power, but for significantly less:

I have full faith that @steipete is going to make GPT in OpenClaw amazing... But the switch from Opus has been tough today. Any other models people are liking that are worth trying? Minimax 2.7?

Controversial opinion: OpenClaw is overrated asf.. I never liked this garbage, not even once. never found it useful for a single damn thing. gave it chance after chance and every single time it turned out to be absolute dogshit.

If you used a Claude subscription with OpenClaw, read this: Unfortunately all other AI models out there absolutely suck with OpenClaw compared to Opus It's just a fact and anyone denying this is delusional So here is my new recommended OpenClaw setup: Pay for the Opus API and use it as your orchestrator Then use other models as the execution layer If you do this correctly, yes your costs will go up, but not by as much as you think I use my ChatGPT subscription as the coding execution. GPT 5.4 is excellent at coding. When The Opus orchestrator gives a coding task to the ChatGPT subagent, it always performs really well If you are on the Pro plan, you should have enough usage to have ChatGPT be the execution layer for every task. But if youre on the $20 a month plan, youre going to need other subscriptions to handle other tasks GLM 5.1 and Qwen are excellent. I'd get a cheap sub through them and have them handle all other tasks given to them from the orchestrator The best setup tho if you have the hardware is Opus API for orchestrator, ChatGPT for coding, then local Gemma 4 and local Qwen handling everything else. Right now have Gemma running on my DGX Spark and Qwen 3.5 on my Mac Studio. They handle all other execution from my Opus API orchestrator Unfortunately all options above will cost more than the $200 a month subscription. It just is what it is. But if you optimize correctly it wont cost much more, and you'll still get frontier performance. OpenClaw is the most powerful piece of software ever released. $200 a month ($2,400 a year) was a steal for a digital employee. Honestly anything under $50,000 a year is a no brainer if you run a serious business. The situation isn't great but you also need to face reality: Claude Opus 4.6 is the best model for OpenClaw. If you use any other model, your productivity will suffer Business is a battlefield and I refuse to fall behind, so despite me not being happy with the Anthropic decision the setup above is what I'm going with Virtue signaling might get me brownie points on the internet, but it won't increase my productivity

Good god please don't listen to this horseshit. 1. OpenClaw is a ralph loop with messaging it's not f**king the greatest piece of software ever written and there's alternatives like paperclip and nanoclaw and tinyclaw that work as good if not better. 2. You don't have to be burning money like this fool. He's making his on clicks and views and so all this drama is great for his numbers but having a 24/7 workforce that's cost him tens of thousands has lead to him releasting ZERO products over last months. Even his screenshots showed 0 tool use. It's all engagement farming bullshit. But you can choose to follow the fool or listen to people who actually know what they're talking about and aren't farming for likes and replies and horseshit. Up to you I have no skin in the game -- just sick of FUD.

I'm tired of OpenClaw Every 2-3 days I have a major moment which I show to my friends: "look what AI agents can do", but then the other 90% is pure frustration and me cursing at my own AI agent for which I spent hours choosing a beautiful name and profile picture. I was fun at start: I added telegram, added voice input, then adding skills even with just voice prompting was a bliss. Then dementia hit. Facts from 48+ hours ago were forgotten. I installed a 3 level memory system. It felt like a huge hack, it barely works, I encounter bugs every day which I'm fixing. Then it breaks with every update. Not all of it, but little things. The WhatsApp integration is just insanity. After putting in every markdown file that it shouldn't reply to my friends (IN CAPITAL LETTERS) it happily started to chat with my wife and my goddaughter. And from today even claude subscription stops working. I feel like a failure! I see all the success stories left and right, YT vids and blog posts "I got it to work and here's what the AI agent does for me", and for me I'm still spending 5x the time fixing my agent than just doing the stuff by hand 🤷
