@vylemaw I avoid this by explaining up front the workflow and the expectations for both of us. They sign a detailed contract that explains it further, including more pay scenarios. They get 2 minor revisions after the rough mockup stage, and what is considered "minor" is at my discretion.

@vylemaw That is terrible, dear goodness. As someone who commissions often, I'm always just stressed about asking the artist to change a detail that I usually didn't ask for. But to just be like 'okay now do it this other way' is terrible. Defo adjust your TOS to protect yourself ASAP.

@vylemaw This is why we prefer the machine. Nobody wants your vision. The client has always wanted to bring their vision to life. Artists who understand this don’t starve. Unfortunately you have no economic future.

i have added things like different arm poses if it's during flat colors/line art tho, just because it's not too bad with my workflow!
