There are more guns in America than people... depending on the kind of firearm you have to be 18+ or 21+ to buy it. They run a background check and as long as you do not have any felonies on your record (as well as domestic charges) you can buy the gun. Some people have dozens of them. 29 states let you carry a concealed weapon as long as you can legally own the firearm.
