So I got a little theory brewing. With the timing of Trumps visit to China, I feel like this is even more likely now. I really should've put the pieces together sooner. I always thought the Americans would strike on the next Muslim holiday but it seemed to far away at the time (early April). It is now a week and half away. WTI rollover happened last night. The Americans first attacks took place during Ramadan. Anybody that knows a thing or two about history knows the Americans love to plan Military Operations around holidays. The next Muslim holiday is Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice.. Ironic) Hajj begins May 25, 2026, Day of Arafah is May 26, 2026 and Eid al-Adha is May 27, 2026. That is the same week as Memorial Day (May 25, 2026) and you guessed it, markets are closed! I don't see an attack happening this weekend. If it's going to happen, it'll be next weekend. Mark my words.

He can clearly be heard saying: “less than 3% of our product”, “49,000 cars”, then while making a cut off gesture with his hands, “capped”, and “I thought you’d actually like that”, before walking away. Presumably this is in relation to Chinese EV’s.

[Unconfirmed] Russian frigate Grigorovich has fired warning shots at a British yacht in the channel. British and French ships are mobilising in response. Incident comes after the Royal Navy boarded Shadow Fleet tanker SMYRTOS (IMO: 9389100) which has been sanctioned by HM Treasury since 15 Oct 2025 under 'The Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019'.

Please provide me with the exact date and quote of when a Conservative Party member in the last 20 years has said they want to abolish all taxes. I'll wait. They want to significantly reduce them. If we have BILLIONS of dollars to give away to other countries, our taxes don't need to be so high :) Seems fairly logical to me

According to Axios, CIA Director John Ratcliffe warned President Trump and other senior officials that U.S. intelligence has uncovered evidence casting significant doubt on Iran’s willingness to accept the nuclear concessions Washington is seeking in a final agreement. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly shared those concerns, raising questions about the proposed memorandum of understanding. Quick easy maths for you guys. Roughly 600 million barrels of oil, travels through the Strait on a monthly basis (pre-war). Oil tankers hold anywhere from 350K-3M barrels of oil. To make things simple, let's say each tanker holds 1.5M barrels (average is 1.675M based of those numbers). We need to see AT LEAST 14 tankers transit every single day to see flows normalize. Iran's approved route handles what? 20 ships/day? Maybe a few more? This does not include tolls placed by Iran/Oman (if that happens). This does not include insurance premiums from insurance companies to let their insured vessels re-enter the Strait. This is simply how many tankers we need to be operating DAILY. And then we have to fill reserves back up on top of that? We are in for a world of hurt if this deal happens.
