Biggest ever investment in youth centres. Right here in Lambeth. Great to welcome @SadiqKhan to Marcus Lipton in Brixton for his £30m investment in youth centres across London. 👉 We will expand our local provision with more safe spaces and free gym and swim for under-16s.

🏊‍♂️FREE SWIM AND GYM FOR UNDER-16s IN LABOUR-RUN LAMBETH🤸‍♂️ Building on our popular free swimming for U-11s, we will expand free swim and gym access to all U-16s in Lambeth if re-elected in May. Helping young people stay healthy and fit and not costing parents a penny extra.

Last cold snap: 28 people sleeping rough in Lambeth offered accommodation. In Brixton, 7 people found during the count - all known to services and now with plans in place. This is backed by a 7-day-a-week outreach team, working through the night 365 days a year!

🚌 Big News for Lambeth! After years of campaigning by Lambeth Labour councillors, TfL is proposing to new bus from Clapham to Eltham. This was a key pledge in our 2022 manifesto & we’re delighted to see the @MayorofLondon backing our call. Back the petition on our website ✍️

It was fantastic to celebrate the topping out of the latest phase of 323 homes at Clapham Park with @MetTVH, Vistry and @lambeth_council. Once completed, the full development will have 4,200 refurbished or new homes, 50% of them affordable homes with funding from @MayorofLondon.

Clapham Park ward has the least connection to tube, trains and Overground in Lambeth so this service is much needed and we will be backing the SL15 in consultation.
