One of my customers ran a full week of content through his system, then flew out on holiday. Posted from the beach. LinkedIn engagement came back to historical highs. He's been "almost dormant" for two years. One week of the right setup fixed it.

I used to think posting more was the answer. It wasn’t. People just couldn’t tell what I actually did.

@TTrimoreau After shipping my product, I started building on Twitter. Now I'm convinced I had it backwards. Grow Twitter first, then Reddit, then LinkedIn, then whatever. Only then slap something together over a weekend with a beer. That's when you start printing money.

Is Reddit still worth it for growth?

@khulanwar cold outreach works, but only when it doesn’t feel like outreach. focus on starting actual conversations, not just hitting 1k for the sake of it.

Do boring tasklist today. DMing people on Linkedin. My Goal is reach my milestone to reach 1K as soon as possible. I think fastest way is cold outreach manually. any advice guys ?

Hot take: 'I did my research' is the most expensive lie in cold outreach. Not lying to the prospect. Lying to yourself. You read their LinkedIn for 4 minutes and called it homework. That's not research. That's procrastination with better optics.

@ItsTrentChute @BeanJuiceStudio That makes sense, X converts better when the message is clear and direct. LinkedIn usually needs a different kind of positioning to actually move people to act.

@BeanJuiceStudio For Kickstarter, Twitter/X has been the best platform for converting followers to backers. TikTok and LinkedIn being the worst. Some of my previous campaigns raised 36k from Twitter and $55 from LinkedIn.

Question for game devs, is X effective for marketing your games? It seems like a great place to network and connect with others, but does it actually help with sales and Wishlists? Trying to level up my marketing but not sure what type of stuff to post on here lol

Just an observation, but I’ve had a couple post/replies about how much I can’t stand LinkedIn and every time they get the most likes and comments with hardly any disagreement. I replied to this thread an hour ago and it already has 26 likes, and it was probably my tamest of rants about the platform. It’s safe to say that most people on X agree that LinkedIn is just an awful place

@Realemekadavid That’s a lot to carry at once 😅 maybe it helps to just pause a bit and figure out what you actually want to focus on first.

Since 2022 I wanted to move into the movie industries for acting in Africa, so I submitted my CV to Christ Embassy and I haven't heard from the. So I decided to become an Enterpreneur. As a secondary school graduate I have to really look for a nice job and focus more on myself,
