I introduced the SHUSH (Silencers Help Us Save Hearing) ACT to end this absurd state of affairs. A suppressor/silencer by itself is about as dangerous as a piece of pipe. On a firearm, it reduces noise and the danger of hearing loss. We should remove all fees and restrictions and let Americans freely purchase this non-lethal accessory.

My wife had cancer. That drought lasted a couple years. Many people will consider years a long time. Even if it had been 5 years or forever, I would never have abandoned my best friend. Now that we’re getting up there I can see that the dry spell may be permanent when we’re in our 80s or 90s. That doesn’t mean she’s not still my best friend. But still on my point, best friends don’t emotionally blackmail their spouse which is what you’re describing.
