Christian life update WEEK #341 Last night I was kicked out of my Protestant church. They’ve asked me not to come anymore if I’m going to continue posting about Catholicism on my social media. Jesus started a physical church while on earth, that church is the Catholic Church. Scripture confirms this. Early church writings confirm this. The Catholic Church gave us our creeds, canon, and the verse numbering system. These are facts. They don’t go away just because you don’t like them. The pain is still raw, especially with it being the day after posting about the need for unity between Protestants and Catholics. 🤷‍♂️ I’m not the only one, check out The Joint Declaration on The Doctrine of Salvation signed in 1999 by 5 major denominations including reformers and Catholics. I’ve been posting my journey and learnings ever since I converted from atheism. My posts were not an attack on any specific church, they were just my learnings, to my own audience. I never recruited anyone, I even have screenshots of text messages where I denied meetings with people specifically to not be divisive or create gossip. I am an accomplished marketer, if I had wanted to promote my messages to their church, I certainly have the skills too. But that was never my intention or desire. It was just me sharing my learnings as I tried to be a “Berean” searching the scriptures and historical evidence. But we forgive because we are forgiven. I’ve text the head pastor and told him I forgive him, also if we see each other locally no need to feel awkward, still love everyone just as much as yesterday. This goes for all of my friends (I hope we are friends, I consider you friends). I won’t tag you, as I don’t want to put that pressure on you, but you know who you are. We’ve prayed together. I’m still that same guy. I still love you just as much as I did 2 days ago. That said, I am not a Christian because of the friends, I am a Christian because I follow Christ. My whole life is His, everything, my very breath is His. Lord please let me keep some of these friends, they are people I genuinely love. Let’s look at what scripture says… “I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. For some members of Chloe’s household have told me about your quarrels, my dear brothers and sisters. Some of you are saying, “I am a follower of Paul.” Others are saying, “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Peter,” or “I follow only Christ.” Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not!” — 1 Corinthians 1:10-13 (NLT) Fracturing is not new. In the 100’s and 200’s it was the attack of the Gnostics. In the 300’s they had the Arianism attacks. The fathers of the faith created the Nicene Creed to defend the faith from the same fracturing that Paul spoke of. That creed says “I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic church.” So that’s what I believe. Some would like you to believe they just meant universal, they also would like you to believe Jesus didn’t mean what he said in John 6:55, that it was just a symbol. Ultimately we are all born with free will. We can choose to keep the protest of the Reformation, further and further fracturing Christianity into more and more factions. Or we can choose one church, like Jesus prayed for, like Paul wrote about, and like the church fathers defended with the Nicene Creed.

Day 1 of building GTA 6. Still feels fake typing that out. Upgraded to Claude Max 20x just for this. Spent a couple hours getting the whole project structured and pushed to the repo. Sandbox is up and running. No studio, no publisher. Just whoever shows up. We picked Godot on purpose: it's community-owned, so nobody can pull an EPIC on us later and rewrite the deal once we're invested. The goal: beat the real GTA 6 to launch.
