Am I the only one who thinks Ferrari’s position here makes absolutely no sense? Red Bull supporting immediate PU changes makes complete sense. They clearly think they need them. Mercedes supporting them is interesting too, because it probably means they’re confident they gain from the changes regardless. But Ferrari opposing it makes even less sense to me because Ferrari themselves have basically admitted they’re down on PU performance. So why block changes that could literally help you too? Unless Ferrari genuinely think the ADUO upgrade is enough to fix everything, which honestly feels delusional at this point.

@SenSanders While the solution he proposes is very debatable the problems he exposed are real and some type of regulation for the direction of AI development is needed and assurances for people that will lose their jobs.

I will be pushing for a moratorium on the construction of data centers that are powering the unregulated sprint to develop & deploy AI. The moratorium will give democracy a chance to catch up, and ensure that the benefits of technology work for all of us, not just the 1%.
