Like, Pete’s childhood fixation with gorn causes him to sexually exploit desperate women as an adult. Bill is a misanthropic bigot who steals for money and causes a lethal riot. Josh remains pitiable. Jerry turns out okay bc he separates himself from these kinds of nerds.

This is a really funny takeaway that’s almost antithetical to the conclusion of the series: these types of toxic nerds still exist, it’s just that their unregulated childhood hijinks escalated into genuinely harmful adult behavior that began to overrun “fandom” and such.
