After Paul Pelosi was attacked in 2022, Jake Tapper did an entire show on the dangers of stochastic terrorism and of systematically demonizing a person. Tapper blamed the right and QAnon for inciting the attack. He said calling someone a pedophile or claiming that someone is out to hurt people will result in violence. Hey Jake, the entire platform of the Democrat party for the past year has been to call Trump a pedophile and to claim that he is out to hurt people. It's also what Jimmy Kimmel does almost every night. Now after Jimmy Kimmel's "joke" about Melania being a widow, Tapper says that jokes are just jokes and are not calls for violence.

So you’re telling me that shitlibs were outside with signs saying somewhat should kill Trump. And then when someone tries to kill Trump, those exact same shitlibs say it was staged?

When males in a tribe become weak, the females will openly mock them while opening the borders of their tribe to let stronger seed dominate them. White feminists say “smash the patriarchy” which is their own blood paternal lines because they want to be dominated by outsiders. A woman in a relationship, will publicly humiliate a man as a signal to her sexual availability and to signal her reproductive anxieties with him. A daughter will disrespect her father and her own heritage when she feels vulnerable to outside threats. Women open themselves up sexually to outsiders when their current men are weak. Women open borders and will appropriate culture of outsiders as a means for survival. Remember, in war, it is the men who are killed and the women are left for breeding. Been like that since the beginning. Europe is dying and it’s opening up of borders to mass immigrants who are fundamentally opposed to their existing culture is the feminine frame of survival where women survive through reproduction and the current tribe’s males are sacrificed. Females love open borders because it reflects their sex anxiety. Europe must awaken to their emasculation and get balls. They must begin to understand what territoriality means to mankind and preserve their traditions from extinction. Wake up. Feminists do not have the better interest of the males in their tribe. They are selling them out as a means for their genetic survival.

One of the things Cole Allen believed was that the Trump administration had been blowing up random Hispanic fishermen. In reality they’ve been blowing up cartel boats that transport deadly drugs and weapons. Left wing media and politicians lied to him and he believed it.

Game theory vs EV. Game theory suggests: click red because it's the only option guaranteed for your survival. If you're wrong and blue wins, you're fine. If you're right, then you survive. All blue choosers die. But, pure prisoners dilemma isn't the only way to estimate what to do in critical situations. There's also EV or Expected Value. Depending on you moral/ethical/utility values you will just automatically pick the highest EV option. In this case, the highest EV option is "everyone lives" because the net loss of choosing red is demented. I would use a stronger word there. But you catch my drift.
Tim Urban@waitbutwhy

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

@xfoM9 @ollyrobot If given the choice between saving them or actively pressing a button to kill them, why would I press the kill button? Why would I argue for pressing the kill button? Why would I coordinate with others so that >51% press the kill button?

@ollyrobot Still, its all circular. The only people you are saving are people who purposefully put themselves into a situation where they need saving, most of whom you just have no reason of caring about.

I think a common misconception that feeds blue-buttoning is that bravery is taking >10% risk to self prosocial actions. That’s not true! bravery is taking <0.1% risk to self prosocial actions In 2025 the RNLI launched 9000, and not a single rescuer was lost. They’re very brave!
Gift of Trees of Draught of Barrel@IntractableLion

@ollyrobot What about the knowledge that, in the event you had a problem during those activities, *everyone* who would show up for Search & Rescue is pushing the blue button & accepting risk

@ThinkWiselyMatt @Martin_Adams I bet it's an OR gate with blue as 0, so pressing both = red. We know blue is 0 because the system doesn't kill anyone in the seconds your hand is hovering over the buttons
