May is Neurofibromatosis Awareness Month. Advancing therapies for rare diseases like NF requires bold new approaches. GCAR, with the @ChildrensTumor Foundation, is powering a first‑of‑its‑kind adaptive platform trial to efficiently evaluate investigational therapies across key NF1 manifestations. For pharma and biotech partners, this model streamlines evidence generation, shortens development timelines, and speeds critical decisions - bringing potential treatments to patients faster. Join us in accelerating progress for people with NF. Email partners@gcaresearch.org to learn more. #NeurofibromatosisAwarenessMonth #NFawareness #EndNF #Neurofibromatosis #NF1 #NFResearch

We had the privilege of welcoming @melinda_bachini, Chief Patient Officer of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation @curecc, to speak with our team about her passion for patient advocacy. Drawing on her personal experience, she offers valuable insight into the patient viewpoint in clinical trials. A 16-year survivor of cholangiocarcinoma, Melinda shared powerful perspectives that serve as an important reminder of the real-world impact of clinical research - and the patients at the center of it. Through our collaboration with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and disease experts, we are developing ARBOR BTC, an innovative platform trial to advance new options for patients with biliary tract cancer. At GCAR, we are committed to making clinical trials more efficient and accelerating the discovery and development of new therapies. We’re deeply grateful to Melinda for sharing her story and for her continued leadership in the patient advocacy community. 💚

PTSD can develop after many types of trauma, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. While effective therapies exist, research shows that many military members and veterans do not experience enough relief from currently available treatment options. The M‑PACT trial was launched to address this gap - establishing a trial framework that can evaluate multiple investigational treatments at once - so progress can happen faster. We’re grateful to Jason Binder and Angeline Giammona for taking the time to speak with our team and share their experiences so openly. Their perspectives - as caregivers navigating the realities of glioblastoma and as innovators working to support others - were incredibly meaningful. At GCAR, our work to make clinical trials more efficient and accelerate the development of new therapies is grounded in these lived experiences. Perspectives like theirs deepen our connection to the realities patients face and underscore the need for better treatment options. We appreciate the work they are doing through Ember to help patients and caregivers navigate complex decisions with greater clarity and understanding. Thank you both for your time, your candor, and your continued commitment to the GBM community.
