We had the privilege of welcoming @melinda_bachini, Chief Patient Officer of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation @curecc, to speak with our team about her passion for patient advocacy. Drawing on her personal experience, she offers valuable insight into the patient viewpoint in clinical trials. A 16-year survivor of cholangiocarcinoma, Melinda shared powerful perspectives that serve as an important reminder of the real-world impact of clinical research - and the patients at the center of it. Through our collaboration with the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and disease experts, we are developing ARBOR BTC, an innovative platform trial to advance new options for patients with biliary tract cancer. At GCAR, we are committed to making clinical trials more efficient and accelerating the discovery and development of new therapies. PTSD can develop after many types of trauma, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. While effective therapies exist, research shows that many military members and veterans do not experience enough relief from currently available treatment options.
