Here's something you won't believe: I prefer Fallout 3's licensed Soundtrack over New Vegas'. Don't get me wrong, I love Sinatra and the Rat Pack - but whoever found and licensed all those tracks for Fallout 3 is the GOAT. The production music tracks alone are God Tier (Boogie Man by Sid Phillips, Swing Doors by Allan Gray and Jazzy Interlude by Billy Munn are the standouts). It's here that Bethesda's reliance on 1950's upbeat shtick actually clashes perfectly with their dreary and ruined locations. But the best tracks are the Bob Crosby tracks. If you didn't know, Bob is the younger brother to the Legendary crooner Bing Crosby, but unlike Bing, wasn't an abusive and neglectful prick. Bob Crosby was well loved during his dim career and his tracks Way Back Home, Dear Hearts and Gentle People, and Happy Times are perfect in Fallout 3. Whoever chose Way Back Home understood the assignment, because it's evocative imagery fucking slaps when contrasted with Fallout 3's wasteland.

Getting rid of the cover art for the regular boxes and only doing it for army sets now, it was so cool to be able to walk into a GW back in the day and see all the amazing art on the walls
