@maestro__exe @elonmusk Maybe the question could have been framed differently but I am concerned that if I buy the car the software will get more and more expensive and I have no control over that. The investment in a car is large and I am only doing it for the FSD.

Autonomous Snow Blower Update: The @yarboglobal completed the first pass of the driveway and went back to the charging dock. After about 1.25hrs, it will be 80% charged and will automatically return and continue to clear the driveway. I plan to run it during the entirety of the storm and will post my review video on @stateofcharge this week. So far, it's kicking A$$!

@James95113983 @niccruzpatane what Ice car would only need to stop every 1100 miles? that's quite the range. Most Ice cars only have about 400mile range so they would have had to stop at least 8 times, maybe more.

@niccruzpatane That is shockingly close. EV fast charging used to be so inexpensive. Consider a ICE would probably only need to stop for gas 3 times for the same trip, EV fast charging is no longer advantageous.

My entire Tesla Supercharging cost for my 3,500-mile trip down to Austin, TX, and back was about $400 in my Model 3 Performance. In a comparable gas vehicle (BMW M3), it would’ve been up to 43% more in fuel costs ($570) on the same route.
