TBH the correct solution is to take more car parking spaces and repurpose them as cycle parking. Such huge popularity in hire bikes means something has to change.

@BobFromAccounts trying to walk around London today is getting increasingly impossible due to the number of bikes, blocking the pavements. Luckily cars don’t block pavements and I can freely walk around road traffic. People should take more buses, underground, cars or walk
