Encouraging signs of a re-opening of Liverpool’s oldest surviving single screen cinema. Fund raising is going well but still some way to go to reach the £700,000 needed to avoid losing this loved icon of local history.

Now redundant as a sunhat, but a new life as a table decoration!

President Trump’s attendance at US Tennis Open forces thousands of fans to be delayed taking the seats they have paid dearly for. Stadium barely half full even after a delayed start. What a way for a leader to treat those he claims to represent. 👎🏻
