@nic_amadio bro I think there's really people doing things like that but I won't call out them
you picked the wrong example here
English

1. Flex how much money you make with indie hacking, claim that it's much more lucrative than jobs
2. Dramatic and viral content about going from nothing to online business money
3. Start course on making money online
4. In fact: only make 5k eur/month before taxes and personal costs from the SaaS
:/
Meanwhile people in my coaching program:
1. Join the program with a low (~5k eur/mo) or mid (~10-15k eur/mo) paying job
2. After few months, land new 100-300k eur/yr job
3. Make no content, sell no course, learn skills + stack cash
4. Grow optionality (take sabbatical, retire early, try indie hacking, etc)
---
Look:
There's plenty of reasons to pursue an online business instead of working jobs.
But in most cases:
• It's way easier to make 100-200k a year, even remotely, with a job than with a business
• With a job you learn while earning, with a business you could be making 0$ for months/years
Working a good job is now underrated.
There's so much deception in the online business content world.

The loudest people shitting on GitHub are usually the ones who’ve never had to build or operate software at that kind of scale.
Everything looks like a simple fix until you’re the one dealing with the complexity.

@bstaples I’m proud of you guys for not dunking on GitHub constantly. This is tasteful (and IMO they deserve worse)

April is ending….
Super unproductive month
But I did do something meaningful. I thought my dad vibe coding. He is super impressed with how good AI have become.
Looking back. I’ve learned too much since the journey started and will keep pushing.
I would be launching replx in may no matter how hard it is. And will be journaling more.
