This is how a CEO loses credibility with me. Cofounder of @NuroAi_Official A is making an AI that can drive vehicles, was winning me over through demonstrations of his more flexible AI than Tesla has demonstrated. Drove in left-hand Japan with no prior training on such. Learned by decomposing the road into all of its parts. So figured out that you needed to drive in the left instantly. But then he said LiDAR is demonstrating itself to be safer. So I stuck up my hand and asked for a situation where LiDAR and camera is safer than camera only approaches, which his company sells too. “A child all in black at night, particularly around a corner.” So tonight after I drove my friend home at 2:30 a.m. I studied this in deep detail in my wife’s Model Y with hardware 4 and Tesla Self Driving controlling the car. 1. Cameras can see far more than humans can at night. 2. Modern cars come with matrix headlights. Which go around the turn and illuminate anywhere a car can turn. 3. Every intersection has a light on almost every intersection. Where there is none why would a child in black be playing on the street in the dark. 4. Tesla has a “zoomed in” telephoto camera as one of the cameras under the windshield so it can actually see ahead far better than a human can. Plus the other night this car drove around a clump of dirt and rocks on the road at 50 mph. I didn’t even see it until the car had already quickly turned around it. I give you his speech here. But you gotta come up with better examples of why a car company needs to spend “low thousands” (his quote, not mine) per car more on LiDARs than that.

@AlexFinn I've been thinking of OpenClaw as a harness. A few people have been using the term and it clicks. The model changes; the harness doesn't much. As long as LLMs work the way they work, the harness layer stays useful. A better model just makes it more valuable, not less.

They just stopped using it and moved onto the next tool The fact that every other post and youtube video is "openclaw is dead" proves OpenClaw is still alive Half of the 'AI influencers' who said OpenClaw is stupid have already reversed course. The other half I promise you will reverse course over the next year when they realize the tools they've been shilling you are now completely irrelevant. Jensen Huang, literally the smartest human being on earth right now has said OpenClaw is the most important software in history. The faster you get on board, the faster you'll change your life.

@JoePro @JoePro the API key injection problem in sandboxes is real. We solved it by writing keys to a temp .env inside the sandbox on init, then stripping them post-task. The container boundary makes it clean. Happy to share the approach if useful.
