@ashlee3dee I'm a bit confused.. you said that you didn't find out way with Vanilla nodes, so you made nodes with C++ But you did actually find a way, but it wasn't good enough ?

@ashlee3dee But actually this fails if some edge doesn't have neigbouring face. Then it gives also the Index number for the face we are looking for neigbours

@slipgatecentral You save 1 vertex with that. If you have 100K cylinders, it's 100K vertices

Workin on nPop addon. Basic idea is that it's opens stuff from nodetree nPanel to popup, so for example managing group Inputs/Outputs it much more streamlined process.

Here's my 10-minute attempt. Probably could have planned this one better. I used different segmentation for the right side than I did on the left, but it still works. Also ngons 😁

Winner of the last SubD modeling challenge, @ phelbot from Discord, a great example of uniform and straight topology. Second image is the next challenge (05) This one is easier to model in general, but it tests out precision modeling skills (Semi-circular shapes):

Never too late to start new things. Last year I started to use Blender, after Modo do dodo. This year I started skiing. Maybe I do backflip before I'm 50, still few years time to train :) Although my back hurts now from that jump :D Maybe flips are for next incarnation :D :D

@humansbgone There are 2 mazes. 2nd falls apart. Maybe it would be better to show first the one with the solution...

@Khellstr3D Looks like the maze in this tweet actually doesn't have a solution :( If there were a through path, you wouldn't need to tear it--it would just fall apart cleanly in two!

IBlender 5.1 draw "dots" over the Points when wireframe overlay is enabled. This is a results of and bug "fix". If you agree with me, that the Points doesn't need dots, dots over points are redundant visual clutter, please go and vote my FR in RCS : blender.community/c/rightclickse…

I don't know why people get so excited about AI design tools. Both Google Stich and Figma suck a lot when you try to task them with something design related.

@cristobalvila Have to get back to this soon... I had almost working field solution but it failed in some situations. I think I have to use Repeat Zone, as I need to now how the Normal in previous point was aligned. Good news is that there are only 4 possibilities per point... And I ones 1/x

When setting Curve Normals, both Z-up and Minimum Twist may produce "bad" results. Z-up causes normals to flip, and Min Twist doesn't keep 90° turn. Today I figured out nice way to overcome those issues by using info from Normals created by both of those ways :
