Ever wonder how many blacksmiths or bakers the town you’re creating actually needs?

Medieval mythology records that the Giant’s Dance, now known as Stonehenge, once stood in Ireland, its stones carried from Africa by a race of giants. Merlin later transported the monument by his mystical arts and raised it upon Salisbury Plain.

@MapEffects @NarniaWeb The fact they started with Magician's Nephew was also a big red flag for me. Using chronological order is not cool.

Greta Gerwig breaks her near two-year silence on adapting ‘Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew’ by C.S. Lewis. “It’s all very under wraps right now, but it’s something that I’m just so thrilled about because it was the book of my childhood. It was the book series that I loved, and I lived through, and I spent so much time imagining myself inside of Narnia … It’s been a joy and an honor to be the person who gets to imagine this universe.” These are her first public comments about Narnia since May 2024.

The Giant's Dance, or Cor y Cawr, said by the medieval authors to have been originally constructed in Ireland using stone brought from North Africa by a race of giants, then subsequently transported across the Irish Sea to Salisbury by Merlin. Quite the pedigree!

@MapEffects @JoshuaBarzon I remember standing on a high-rise in downtown Seattle and thinking to myself "none of these buildings existed 200 years ago this was just a forest."

@nonregemesse Based on what? Her track record of extreme success? Or is it Netflix being so high on it that they were even willing to make a deal with AMC for it? Both great options for you, which one?
