Why would FSD make this ridiculous move? 😡 You can’t park there mate! Oh wait, the car effortlessly moved for an emergency vehicle approaching from behind Well done FSD! 👏 @teslaeurope

Model Y LR RWD w. Tesla 4680 battery data! ▶️Rated Range @ 100% = 523km ▶️Consumption Constant = 145Wh/km ▶️Usable Energy ~ 76kWh So it is a little larger than expected and on par with the LG 5C that first arrived in the Model 3 LR 2021 (580km). @eivissacopter @An_t0i_ne Thank you, always insightful. It would have my beloved 3D6 (great motor). What you argue is coherent with Canada climate that probably does not need at all a top buffer for limiting the stress at 100% in the sun

@An_t0i_ne There is a good possibility that just the rear drive unit had an inverter swap for a stronger 840A one and some top buffer locked via software was removed. Overall car and battery (CATL 6M) unchanged.

Just some thought on this one: ▶️62.5 kWh is the exactly the number that Tesla declares for CATL 6M in Europe. ▶️The vehicle weight didnt't change. Exactly the same. ▶️Better 0-100 can be done by switching from 3D7 to 3D6. ▶️250kW is gone! 175kW are back. x.com/tslaming/statu…
Ming@tslaming

UPDATE 🇨🇦 The Shanghai-made Tesla Model 3 RWD exported to Canada is likely equipped with Sunwoda’s fast-charging batteries ⚡️ ✅ Its 62.5 kWh battery supports 250 kW ultra-fast charging, putting it on par with the AWD and Performance versions—this is the standard 3C charging level. ✅ Plus, the 0–100 km/h acceleration has been boosted from 6.1s to 5.2s.

Only when you drive the Cybertruck do you realize how incredible it is: a bulletproof tank that moves like a million dollar sports car! Reason for the angular shape is that the thick, ultra-hard stainless steel body panels cannot be stamped like the thin, feeble, paper-strength mild steel of other trucks. Cybertruck body panels would break 5000 ton stamping machines.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

One of Elon's most vocal critics just bought a Cybertruck. Brian Krassenstein, who has spent years publicly clashing with @elonmusk, announced the purchase yesterday. His reason had nothing to do with politics. He has a young family and the Cybertruck is the only pickup truck in America to hold both an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award and a perfect 5-star NHTSA rating simultaneously. When your fiercest critics are buying your product because the data leaves them no choice, that's a different kind of win.

Here’s what the fake gear shifts and gas-engine sound through the speakers sounds like. Lexus says they modeled the sound after the Lexus LFA engine for this all-electric 3-row SUV. I absolutely hate this 😂
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

Lexus has just officially unveiled their new all-electric three row SUV for the US, the Lexus TZ. • Range: Up to 300 miles • Two battery options: 77 kWh & 96 kWh • Peak charging speed: 150kW • 10-80% charge in 35 minutes • NACS charge port • Fake gear shifts with gas engine sounds through the speakers • 3,500 lb towing capacity • 0-60mph: 5.1s • Up to 420 hp • Quietest cabin among Lexus SUVs • Forged Bamboo interior trim sourced from Shikoku Island • Second-row captain’s chairs • Front passenger & second-row ventilated seats with power ottomans • One-touch folding second- and third-row seats • In-cabin fragrance • Full-screen navigation in digital gauge cluster • Six Japanese-inspired ambient lighting themes • 21-speaker audio system • Heated seats in all seating rows • Available Dynamic Rear Steering (up to 4 degrees rear-wheel steering) • 0.27 drag coefficient • Five regenerative braking levels adjustable via paddle shifters • Lexus-first 2-in-1 charging port with side-by-side AC/DC connectors • AC external power supply capability • Can't self-drive, but has driver assist features • Overall length: 200.8" • Wheelbase: 120.1 inches • Cargo capacity with rear seats up: 13.8 cubic feet • No frunk Vehicle goes on sales in the U.S. at the end of 2026. Pricing will be announced later. I've attached a lot more photos in the thread below:

This is the condition of a 2019 Tesla Model 3’s seats after 381,069 miles. Incredible. Most other car manufacturers, such as Ford, General Motors, or Toyota, typically outsource seat production to specialized suppliers. Tesla makes its own seats in-house. @Drive_Protected

Millions of Tesla vehicles with AI4 computers will be able to run Tesla’s/xAI’s Digital Optimus (Macrohard), effectively becoming your own AI agent when parked. You might also be able to earn income from your Tesla by opting in to let Tesla use your car’s AI computer for distributed inference workloads. Elon mentioned each car would have ~1 kilowatt of high-performance AI inference capability. 100M cars is 100GW of distributed compute. Tesla could turn their entire fleet into a giant distributed inference network, spread across the world, powered by the batteries and AI chips in the car already.

@Maxi76PL Nah, can't do with the brutally stiff suspension (this is really the worst thing about MY pre-Opal), that 30+ minute DC stop time, non-ventilated seats, the constant Bing-Bong,...it just adds up over time. Had all model year MYLR up to 2024. German made 2022s were the best IMO.

Tesla LFP is the most extreme far-right fascist battery ever deployed by Tesla It likes and actually NEEDS to be charged to the far right of the battery Preferably as close to the right at least one time a week That’s just another example of how dangerous a man like @elonmusk and all his companies are

@eivissacopter @RoquaiJamie Crazy fast deg for the new Pana. I can't figure out how and why Tesla battery engineers deal with it. Maybe asymptotic to ~80? Maybe maintain low resistance ?

@RoquaiJamie Tesla has to types of top locks. A good and bad one. CATL has the good one in that it uses up the top unusable 2kWh before reducing the range. 2021 Panasonic 3C f.e. come with a fixed voltage lock to 4.15V This blocks the top 3kWh forever and the range still drops from day 1.

Tesla is relatively unique in not having an unusable top buffer (exceptions apply like CATL). The range/capacity starts to drop soon after purchase Panasonic's seem to be the ones to drop most significantly. Some batches being total loss after 2-5 years. x.com/DevinOlsenn/st…

Wide spread according to your anecdotal evidence? My issue is you're making a claim "Tesla batteries degrade worse than others" based soley off YOUR opinion based off anecdotal evidence. There are zero studies that I can find that back up what you're saying - everything I find actually says overall Tesla batteries do better than industry average.

It has begun, Elon was right. Mercedes has started to remove LiDAR sensors from its new vehicles. The all-new 2027 Mercedes-Benz C-Class EV does not feature any LiDAR sensors in its suite, as does the new CLA EV. • 10 cameras • 5 radars • 12 ultrasonic sensors • 0 LiDAR Mercedes says the decision to remove LiDAR comes primarily for cost, and scalability.

Italian efficiency when it comes to coffee should be studied. In Italy: - Walk into a bar and look at the guy - Un caffe - 30 seconds later it’s ready - Shoot it - Leave €1 - Walk out In the US: - Join a line - Wait - Order coffee - Answer 12 questions: Size? Milk? Roast? Sugar? Temperature? Colombia beans? Name? How do you spell it? - $12.34 - Ask for a 20% tip. Click 5 times on a ipad to have a custom tip - Tap phone - ask where to send the invoice - Wait again on a different line - Someone call a name that sounds similar to mine - get the coffee - too hot, can't drink it - finally at temperature taste like shit
