@gr8t24 @BYUSportsNation @byuwbb The Mormon bible is not real. It is written by a con man who committed bank fraud and who took multiple wives. There is only one God.

@BYUSportsNation @byuwbb Aren't they Mormon's tho? Fake book made by a cult leader, they are not worshipping God, they are worshipping the words of a heretic.

I don’t think people realize how affordable Teslas have gotten. A new Model Y is $530/month. (72 months)

@JessePeltan @elonmusk Remember when oil megacorps price gouged people to wishing they had a Tesla? The problem is that people who cant afford $5 gas cant afford an $1000+ a month payment for 84 months🤷‍♂️

hey, in the reporting of my book, I found out that the Mormon Church directly pays Mormon influencers. so if you’ve ever wondered why there are so many Mormon family vloggers & mom influencers, that’s a big reason:-)

@smonter42 @TommyIgoe @JessePeltan none are under warranty. Transmission goes out, out of your pocket. It's silly to compare a 20 year old used car to a brand new Tesla and talk in the same breath like the price is the only thing.

@TommyIgoe @JessePeltan By good I mean reliable and relatively low maintenance. You’re probably looking at a Toyota Corolla or Camry or possibly Honda Accord or Civic there’s a handful of other reliable cars out there in this price range as well.

@Song_of_the_Sun @JessePeltan Incorrect. There is literally dozens of cars available on marketplace right now for around 4-6k. These cars get ~35 mpg highway. If you commute 40 miles per day that’s 297 gallons of gas. At $4 that is $1188 per year. That’s 2 payments for the Tesla Your math sucks

@meeksryan @TheShowSDSU To be fair, he was competing against teams that also have zero NIL resources - and they finished 6th in the Missouri Valley Conference (and first time in a decade going to the tourney). Just had to win the tourney. I'm sure he's a nice guy, and loyal(ish).

@Spchedder @natemaklocklin Exactly. How many lessons are spent watching 20 and 30 minute videos each week because there's so much time to fill? Shorter lesson means getting right to the meat of what we need to talk about.

@natemaklocklin Honestly Nate I believe we’ll get more gospel instruction in the 50/two weeks this way than every other week. Classes will have to be much better at focusing on the most important and relevant each week. As a young men’s leader I am thrilled to see the boys every week.

Personally, I think this change is a bad one. Latter-day Saints are already lacking in understanding their religion and cutting lesson times in half will not help with that problem. We’ll see though!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints@Ch_JesusChrist

In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world. Beginning September 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for Sunday School and quorum or class meetings will be replaced. Under the updated schedule: • Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will be held each week. • Sacrament meeting will continue to be 60 minutes, followed by brief transition periods. • Sunday School and quorum and class meetings will each be 25 minutes. • Primary will continue every Sunday and will be 55 minutes, held while adults and youth attend their respective classes. • Where local circumstances necessitate, units may begin with Primary and quorum and class meetings and conclude with sacrament meeting. Republicans can mock the No Kings protests all the want, but the reality is it just grew from 6 million to 8 million people in a few months. 3,300 rallies in all 50 states, many in suburbs and small towns. Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress see the writing on the wall. A record 36 are retiring early. Donald Trump is sitting around 40% approval at best, closer to the low 30s by some measures. When a president is under 50%, their party historically loses an average of 34 seats in Congress. Democrats only need a handful of seats. The energy is real and it is growing.
