I'm going to go ahead and say 89 just based on how games media typically scores. It's the same game but expanded on. It fixes the issues critics complained about back in 2013, such as tailing missions, modern day interruptions, "basic" combat... All whilst having beautiful visuals. It even fleshes out characters who originally had unfinished arcs, and critics are going to love the new officer questlines. Also the removal of hidden blade combat won't matter to them as it does to diehard AC fans. I know I always nitpick cutscenes, but outlets usually don't care about that stuff as much. I can see it scoring high.

So, what's the metacritic score prediction looking like for Black Flag Resynced?

shit game died pretty quick compared to the rest, I liked shadows but it’s underwhelming for the years of hype for a Japan AC game

Ghost of Yotei is SO SO underrated, it deserves so much more praise, one of the best worlds in gaming, an excellent emotional story and amazing gameplay. My 2025 game of the year
