Today we joined @HighBridgeMS with the @highbridgees40 to complete our first @ADL activity. Students listened to, “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” and discussed inclusion and differences. Finally, they all made their own pumpkins to add to our district pumpkin patch! @KD_Franks

7th grade is in the Elite 8 match-ups. We’re having a lot of fun analyzing poems and voting for the winning poets. Who do you think will be the final winner? … Stay tuned! 🤔🏀🏆 @HighBridgeMS

I'm excited to continue integrating Notice & Note fiction signposts into my class novel studies. They are one of my favorite close-reading strategies to teach! @KyleneBeers @BobProbst

It's so important for students to learn how to debate topics in a respectful and meaningful way. This Text Set is designed to help teachers practice healthy debate in the classroom while building connections, promoting inquiry, and engaging students. newse.la/39dItOD

In 7th grade, students are acting as realtors. Using descriptive language in a real estate flyer, they will try to "sell" their unique gingerbread home to prospective buyers! @HighBridgeMS

In 6th grade, students practiced identifying parts of speech by engaging in a pixel art mystery reveal. As they entered the correct answers, a winter penguin picture appeared! @HighBridgeMS

7th grade practiced paraphrasing while reading “Noticing Mistakes Boosts Learning,” an article teaching about mindset and it’s impact on learning. They did an awesome job identifying key ideas and rewriting in their own original wording! @HighBridgeMS
