A bunch of Forza Horizon 6 players say they’ve been hit by a nasty bug that resets all their progress, with some losing hundreds of hours of gameplay. People who ran into the issue say they’ve lost everything, including their car collections, credits, campaign progress, and collectibles. The bug has been reported by both Xbox and PC players. Nobody knows exactly what’s causing it yet, though some players think cloud sync issues or Xbox Quick Resume might be involved. In some cases, support can give back cars and credits, but most of the actual progress is gone for good. For now, players are recommending that you let the game finish syncing before closing it, avoid force-closing the game, and back up your save files on PC if you can. Playground Games is looking into the problem, but there’s still no word on when a proper fix will arrive.
