That's us! 🌍 The Artemis II crew captured beautiful, high-resolution images of our home planet during their journey to the Moon. As @Astro_Christina put it: "You guys look great."

Very interesting article by @richarddigard in today’s Press about Revolut and how the Crown Dependencies are being frozen out of UK credit cards and the fintech revolution. I thought the issue was simply that online credit checks of the equivalent of the UK’s county court judgements could not be made here by UK card providers?

@advocategreen1 I have made the observation before, that the chamber can be some kind of quasi retirement home, where you do what you want when you want A nice little earner when the States pension isn’t quite enough to pay for that Caribbean cruise

@advocategreen1 I’ve been asked more than once why I haven’t considered standing, I always give a one word answer ‘why?’ I could give a hundred reasons why not, more than this platform allows

@oldfarmhorace Wow, well done I thought the profile pic was looking a bit different! Have you considered stabilisers for the e-bike? Lol Seriously you will love the e-bike if you can eventually master it

@GuyPlummer34449 @MaryLowe501 Contra question: Now that it’s not sitting on the @CI_Coop balance sheet, will shareholder members see a better return on investment or even an improvement/compensation for funding the Co-Op’s folly for over 25 years with zero return

@ScribblerJB Yes Follow my page @GuernseyFuelOil for all the latest prices I have an update to do, but still Whiteway’s is the cheapest Don’t go anywhere near the @CI_Coop who are 17.4ppl dearer than Whiteway A huge corporate, so much dearer than a tiny independent forecourt!

@guernseyliz14 Out of interest, how many songs do you have on your ‘liked songs’? I’ve got over 1,000 but always looking for more inspiration Maybe try a ‘Jam’ or a ‘Collaborative playlist’ with a friend Happy to share mine I’ve got everything from Englebert Humperdinck to The Clash 😆

Friends does anyone have any advice for new stuff to listen to? It has to have lyrics with meaning and to be tuneful. I'm stuck with my old friends the Eagles, Paul Carrack, Queen etc. Proper songs from people who are pleasant to listen to.

@NigelStaples @YoungGuern It would make a significant difference to the UK economy and would protect the security of the UK’s energy supply.

Do the people pushing this think North Sea oil is nationalised or something? Even if every drop was exploited it would make zero difference because it’s not enough to make a dent in international markets. It’s either that or a deeply cynical campaign.

@DavidPiesing63 @YoungGuern But even if North Sea production was back up to maximum levels, it would make zero difference to the global market, as the market tends to move as a ‘whole’ not as a single ‘part’ Brent Crude is just a small part of a much wider market

The North Sea Transition Authority is reducing licences and not renewing licences due to the government policy. The government also made it less commercially viable due to high taxes from the oil industry, which is again government policy. Government policy can be changed. Oil still exists in the UK’s North Sea.

If you saw this in today's @GuernseyPress and wondered wtf, I think it has its roots in 1930s boiler legislation and 1950s health and safety because GEL is deemed a "factory" as it generates electricity. @advocategreen1 ?
