Less govt, more freedom. The 1st and 2nd Amendments are inextricably intertwined and equally important.

Read your post very carefully, take 60 seconds and get back to us...🙄 "...because they arrived late through the mail..." Yeah...what could possibly be wrong by that. Tell ya what Skippy, you and the @ORDems willing to never enforce any govt deadlines on residents for taxes or forms or fees? No? yeah...thought not. You and your ilk can go pound sand.

The Supreme Court is deciding whether or not to block states from counting ballots that were legally cast by eligible voters by Election Day simply because they arrived late through the mail.

Ooooh, let's bring in an expert in who can truly exploit the hardworking, LEGAL taxpayers! @jvegapederson is lining up all the necessary mechanisms of evil to destroy Multnomah County once and for all because she has an ax to grind. Good luck, Oregonians, you are going to need it. The Homeless Industrial Complex is about to shift into 5th gear.

@jordan_pape PPS once forecasted 54k student enrollment. Now they are forecasting 36k students. I'm definitely not an expert on school funding, but if enrollment drops by a third, there will be cuts.

The original @SteyrArmsUSA AUG was adopted by the Austrian military in 1977. Importation of a semiautomatic rifle to the US started in the early 1980's but was banned in 1989 by G.W. Bush. Now they're made in the US and they've evolved nicely. Do you like the AUG?

Yet the @ORDems only push for more taxes, fees, regulations and other nonsense to that does nothing to help the avg OR resident. They only want to enrich the govt class and their donors. Oregon Democrats have controlled the state for over 35 years. There is no one else to blame for Oregon’s high cost of living, and problems. Continuing to vote for the Oregon Democrats is literally insane.
Chris Dudley@Dudley4Oregon

Oregon is now one of the worst and least affordable states to raise a family in the US. Everything from eggs to cleaning supplies is costing families $18K MORE each year than other states. While Democrat leader continue to point fingers, I'm here for solutions. Giving local businesses tax breaks will keep businesses in Oregon and lower prices for families. katu.com/news/local/ore…

@mmcdonaldlewis @PNWLibertyBelle Unfortunately Portland’s dogmatically dim Dem voters will keep voting for the same incompetent and gritting people and policies. When Portland finally decays badly enough, those voters will leave and go ruin some outer place. They will never change.

Key points from the linked article about the doom-spiralling idiotic Portland: 1. You Are Paying More and Getting Less By a Wide Margin Portland residents now carry the second-highest combined tax burden of any city in the United States, behind only New York City. And what did residents get in return? Police take nearly 20 minutes on average to respond to a high-priority emergency which is nearly double the national standard. Portland Fire & Rescue meets its own adopted response time goal less than half the time. Streets are crumbling under a $6 billion maintenance backlog. Mental health services are so dysfunctional that a sitting county commissioner — herself an emergency room doctor — declared in writing that the system had failed and asked the governor to intervene. In Oregon’s public schools, only 43% of students are proficient in English and just 31.5% in math. These numbers sit below pre-pandemic levels, and well behind neighboring Washington state. 2. Portland is Losing People, Jobs, and Businesses, and the Trend Is Accelerating Portland is shrinking. Multnomah County has lost population every year since the pandemic. The region lost more jobs in 2024 than any other major metro area in the country — while the rest of the nation was growing. People moving to Clark County, Washington — just across the river — earn an average of $105,800 per year. People moving into Multnomah County earn an average of $73,540. Higher earners are voting with their feet. Portland Public Schools lost 6,000 students since 2018 (the equivalent of three high schools) and enrollment is projected to decline for 14 more years. The district has cut $75 million from its budget over three years with $50 million more planned, and up to 10 schools may close by 2027. Office vacancy has climbed to around 37%—among the highest in the nation—while demand has sharply declined, with leasing activity falling to near-record lows. Retail vacancy is also elevated, outpacing most peer cities. At the same time, property values are dropping significantly, While many U.S. cities are beginning to recover, Portland continues to see rising vacancies, falling demand, and declining asset values. 3. We are Not Holding Them Accountable Multnomah County spent over $500 million annually on homelessness — more than $53,000 per homeless person — and the homeless population grew. The Preschool for All program collected hundreds of millions of dollars more than it budgeted, left $485 million sitting unspent at the end of fiscal year 2024, and delivered fewer than 3,800 of the 11,000 seats promised to voters by 2030. The homeless services department violated its own budget rules by funding permanent programs with one-time money — then declared a crisis when that money ran out. Portland Public Schools test scores flatlined and families are left with no plan that has reversed either trend. DATA souce for this article linked in the comments. nwexaminer.com/p/portlands-da…

@JustAmyMcC Even with a perfect non-Dem candidate, the question is would enough OR Dem voters fill in the ballot for anything other than a leftist Dem. I just don’t know. Most OR Dem voters would sooner have a convicted child rapist babysit their kids than vote for a republican. 🤷‍♂️

Oregon may never improve at this rate. Our Republican candidates give us ZERO VOICE! One candidate shuts off all comments and the ones he allows, there are never any answers. One surrounds himself with pedos and has a drunk working his page that blocks almost everyone that asks a question she doesn’t like. (Who throws shade like it’s glitter so I don’t feel bad for saying this) Never get an any answers from the other two either.

All of those who REALLY know about Measure 114 and our case out in Harney County know what a pivotal role my friend Ben Callaway of Spent Cartridge in Burns, OR played! So glad to see Ed Diehl visiting with a man who volunteered his time and resources to protect ALL of our gun rights. He was at every hearing (one of the few besides me who can say that) and has great insight on what gun owners and Eastern Oregonians need!
Real Diehl for Governor@Real_EdDiehl

Visited Spent Cartridge in Burns and met Ben Callaway, the gun shop owner and star witness in the Measure 114 case. His testimony exposed the real damage this permit-to-purchase scheme and magazine ban would inflict on law-abiding citizens and small businesses. HB 4145 delays implementation until 2028, but the fight continues in the Oregon Supreme Court. Government permission slips have no place in our constitutional rights. Thanks, Ben, for standing strong. We will defend the Second Amendment. And Together, we will take back our Oregon!

Sadly, no. Portland has attracted the most dogmatically dim left of the leftists. Portland Dem voters would literally sooner have a convicted child rapist babysit their kids before they'd for anything other than a leftist Democrat. The only way portland changes is when it figuratively burns or decays to the ground and the current crop of lefty Portlanders move on to ruin another city. Until then, nothing changes.

I wonder what percentage of these people are realizing that they need to vote differently? Will the pendulum ever swing in Portland or is abortion always going to win?

If you're an OR gun owner, you should be following @TonyAielloJr who is leading the efforts to stop Measure 114. Below is a great update.
Tony Aiello, Jr. - Civil Attorney@TonyAielloJr

There are a lot of new people on this page, so I wanted to do some reminding on where we’re at with Measure 114… First… We are still fundraising after taking a break through the 2025 Holidays and the beginning of the year recovery. We appreciate any support we can get! We are self-funding this litigation! MEASURE 114 FUNDRAISER INFO ⤵️ ☎️ 503-496-7177 ✉️ Checks made out to “Tyler Smith and Associates” 181 N. Grant St., Suite #212, Canby, OR 97013 🛜 givesendgo.com/StateCourt_Sto… Second… We still have a permanent injunction against 114. This stands unless we lose in the Supreme Court. If we do lose, the March 15, 2026 (yesterday)—which was set by SB 243 (2025) is no longer the enforcement date due to the amendments in HB 4145. However, Gov. Kotek hasn’t signed that bill yet. If she does sign, the new date will be Jan. 1, 2028. If she doesn’t sign, the injunction will stand unless we lose in the Oregon Supreme Court. There would be *some* lag time between losing and enforcement, but not much. Last… the Federal case in the 9th Circuit remains paused behind Duncan v. Bonta. Keep an eye on SCOTUS on that case and Gator’s Custom Guns as well. Both cases only deal with the magazine ban 1/2 of Ballot Measure 114, but the federal case has been parked until those cases are decided.

@GovTinaKotek / @TinaKotek and the @ORDems hate you and your kids. They only care about themselves, their PERS retirement, and the union support that keeps them in money and power. Everything else is expendable and here to serve them. That's it. If you're one of the Dem voters who keeps these corrupt and incomptent politicians and bureaucrats in power, you also either hate your fellow residents or at just insane.

You’ve got to be kidding me… Education is one of your “top priorities”?!
